Max is a 13-year-old entire male terrier
He was brought in because of a perianal growth and a sensitive mouth and terrible halitosis

The growth was freely movable and lobulated
The whole mouth could not be examined, but there was gingivitis, and some teeth had tartar and receding gum.

The mass was removed under general anesthesia. Under the same anesthesia the teeth were cleaned with a dental scaler. Five teeth had badly infected roots and were extracted.

Post operatively, Max was given antibiotics and pain killers and a collar to prevent premature interference with the wound.

Amazingly, Max ate that very evening after waking up from anesthesia.

💛 Houdini – A True Fighter 🐾

Yesterday, we had the privilege of caring for Houdini, a rescued stray male cat brought in by one of our kind-hearted client. After assessment, Houdini underwent neutering and a major surgery.

This procedure is typically performed to address severe injury, tumors, or other conditions where the limb is non-functional or causing significant pain and discomfort.
In this particular case, Houdini had suffered severe trauma, resulting in multiple fractures of the carpal and metacarpal bones, coupled with an active infection of the bones.

The surgery aimed to create a smooth, well-padded amputation site on the chest wall to prevent pressure sores and allow for comfortable movement.
Houdini is now in recovery, adjusting to his new. 💪🐱

After a long week of supervising vaccines, greeting clients, and inspecting every corner of the clinic, George the Clinic Cat has officially declared a bonnet siesta! 🚗🐱
