Not everything that looks or sounds like aggression is actual aggression...

Lola pictured here is a perfect example of that. The noises she makes when spotting another dog - quite understandably - cause most people (and their dogs) to give her a wide berth when all she wants to do is say hello! Being restricted by the lead she voices her frustration about the situation, loudly!

When being allowed to meet Cynni and Smooch during our initial consultation it became obvious that she is very social, quite a softie and communicates well.

Now she is attending our Social Walks at weekends and inbetween is learning impulse control in day to day situations with her humans.

We took advantage of the low tide at lunchtime the other day and walked towards Seymour Tower.

The staffie "Mr Full of Beans" (not his real name 😆) only stopped running for quick recalls with treats then he took off again.

For the majority of my one to one sessions I forget to take photos because I am so present from the moment I turn up, and my mind gets to work, observing, analysing, translating...

This rare photo of me was taken by the owner at the end of the lesson, prompted by them saying their dog doesn't often snuggle up and then to realise he was asleep 😴 having wedged himself behind me 😆

A great Social Walk this morning with 11 dogs ranging
..from 7 months to 13+ years in age
..from total newbie to regulars (4 years 👏 of dedication)

...from a couple being somewhat overwhelmed at first to walking in a tight group and all arriving calmly back to the car park.
