Today I felt like sharing a few old pictures from the days when I had just started rescuing bunnies.
They suddenly appeared in my Google Photos yesterday… and with them came back so many memories, emotions, sleepless nights, struggles, tears, and hope. ❤️

Back then, I wasn’t active in Facebook groups.
I had no support system, no community, no guidance.
Just one thing inside me — an unstoppable urge to save innocent souls from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and suffering.

There were days when I felt alone.
Days when I questioned if I could continue.
But every little life I saved made me keep going.

And today… things are different. 🥹
Today I have the support of the bunny community — some of the kindest hearts I’ve ever known.
People who stood beside me, trusted me, encouraged me, donated for buns they never even met, and reminded me that compassion still exists in this world.

I truly wish to have this family beside me forever, as long as I am alive and continuing this rescue journey. 💝

Every rescued bunny carries a story.
And every person who supports rescue becomes part of that story too.

A new week has begun… and with it, four more fragile lives depending on us. 💔

Today, a bunny parent reached out to me with tears and fear in her heart. She has been diagnosed with cancer and has to leave for treatment. She can no longer care for her two beloved male buns — one only 1.5 years old and the other 4.5 years old.

Imagine how painful it must be to leave behind the souls you love while fighting for your own life. 😔
Her only wish was for her babies to stay safe, loved, and cared for. So they are now coming to our shelter.

And that’s not all…

Another person contacted me after finding two abandoned buns on a roadside. He has kept them safe temporarily in his home and will bring them to our shelter tomorrow. He doesn’t even own a smartphone, so we have no pictures of them yet — only the hope that they will finally be safe. 🥺

That means FOUR more bunnies entering our shelter this week.

The bunnies keep increasing… but the resources don’t.
Hay, pellets, herbs, medicines, rent, cleaning supplies — every rescue adds another responsibility, another mouth to feed, another life to protect. But how do we say no when innocent souls have nowhere else to go? 💔

Please help us continue rescuing.

These 3 pictures are not just “before and after.”
They are proof that abandoned lives can bloom again when love gets a chance. 🌈

The tiny bunny who could barely survive… now stretches peacefully after 2 months of care.
The white bun who suffered painful wounds… now sleeps safely without fear.
The fragile little soul who once looked hopeless… now sits proudly, healthy and loved. 🤍

But behind every recovery story, there are sleepless nights, emergency rescues, medicines, cleaning, feeding, tears, and endless struggle.

And these are only **3 buns**.

Right now, there are **72 more rescued bunnies** depending on us every single day. 🐰

Love alone cannot pay shelter rent.
Love alone cannot buy herbs, hay, medicines, or electricity.
No matter how hard we work, time keeps running and expenses never stop.

Every single donation — even the smallest amount — helps abandoned souls survive long enough to heal, trust, and live again. 🙏

Some of these babies were thrown away like they never mattered.
Today they sleep peacefully because compassionate people like YOU chose to care. ❤️

Last Sunday night, this little bunny was found abandoned in a roadside garden in the Barrackpore area… alone, scared, and waiting for someone who never came back. 💔

Days passed, but no parents showed up for her.

So now… she is part of our shelter family. 🐰🏡

Behind every rescue is a reality most people don’t see.
This picture shows just one part of our daily routine — the shelter cleaning process. It takes nearly 3 hours every single day to keep the buns safe, healthy, and comfortable.

We somehow managed hay expenses for this month because of your endless love and support. 🌾
But we still urgently need help for:

💡 Electricity bills
🤝 One helping hand for cleaning & care
🌿 Fresh herbs and daily food for the buns

This innocent little soul was found abandoned Sunday night in a roadside garden in the Barrackpore area… alone, scared, and helpless. 💔

A group of kind-hearted students rescued the bunny immediately, but because they stay in a PG accommodation, the owner refused to let them keep the baby even for a night. With nowhere else to go, they reached out to me… and I personally went to bring this precious bun safely to our shelter. 🥺🐰

By appearance, this bunny clearly seems to be someone’s pet. No domestic bunny belongs on the streets. They cannot survive outside alone.

So today, I am requesting everyone from the bottom of my heart — PLEASE SHARE THIS POST AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. 🙏💝
One share could reunite this bunny with their family.

For safety reasons, I am NOT revealing the exact location where the bunny was found, nor the gender of the bun. Proper verification and proof will be required to ensure the bunny goes back to the real parent if they come forward.

Until then… this baby is safe, loved, fed, and protected in our shelter. 🏡💙

Until there is life, there is hope.

These little souls were once abandoned, unwanted, and left behind. But today, they are living proof that love can heal what neglect tried to break.

Meet Puchke — a tiny bundle of joy who spends his days playing, exploring, standing on his little feet for treats, and then stretching out for the most adorable naps. Watching him enjoy life reminds us that rescued animals don't dwell on their past; they simply cherish every moment of kindness they receive.

And then there's Mammam... resting peacefully while fiercely guarding her most treasured possession — her pile of poops. 😆🐰 Every bunny parent knows that some treasures are simply non-negotiable!

A rescued rabbit doesn't just need food, shelter, and medicine. They need something even deeper: love, safety, and the feeling that they finally belong. For animals who have been abandoned, a second chance can transform their entire world.

Every happy hop.
Every curious nose twitch.
Every peaceful nap.

These are little miracles made possible because people chose compassion over indifference.

💔 Someone once gave up on them.

WE DID IT… Thanks to our incredible bun family. 🌾🤍

Hay for June has finally been restocked, and today the buns are staying peacefully with full tummies and safe hearts. 🥹🐇

After everything they’ve survived, seeing them relax inside their cool AC room during this unbearable heat feels like a miracle.

(The photo was taken through the glass door, so it looks a little hazy ✨)

Some buns are still staying in cages — but only because they are under medical treatment or cannot safely bond with other rabbits. They are NEVER forgotten. Each one gets individual playtime, love, cuddles, and special care every single day. 🐰💕

Running a rescue is exhausting emotionally, physically, and financially… but your support keeps these babies alive. Every donation, every share, every kind message truly matters. 🙏

We are running out of HAY for our rescued buns… and time is running out too 😔💔
Last we've stocked in May, which will be enough for 10-12 days more.

In India, Timothy Hay is NOT grown locally. It has to be imported from the US, making it extremely expensive for rescuers like us.

30 kg hay bale = approx $63 USD including transportation (₹6000 )

1 kg hay = approx $2.08 USD and regular 5 kg hay is needed for full day feeding (10.4$).
Approx 80 rescued buns depend on us EVERY SINGLE DAY
We need around 150 kg hay per month to keep them fed
Total monthly cost = approx $320 USD

Without hay, these babies cannot survive. Hay is their primary food and essential for their health. We are trying our best, but we truly cannot do this alone 🙏

Please help us keep their tiny stomachs full and their lives safe 💝

These little souls didn’t have the best start. Rescued from difficult conditions, they arrived scared and weary—but they never stopped holding onto hope.

Every day, we see their personalities bloom. From the first tentative "binky" to the quiet trust of a head rub, these moments are only possible because of you.

We are currently caring for 82 bunnies, and our supplies are running low. Whether it’s a bag of hay or a medical contribution, every bit helps us keep these noses twitching.
