Bruno, a six-year-old gentle free roaming dog from Lalpur, had spent years surviving on the streets. But when a tumor and eye injury left him in visible pain, a kind neighbor reached out to us. Our team rescued him just in time. Now under expert care, Bruno is receiving the treatment at WVS Hope, every rescue is more than just a medical case, it’s a promise that no animal will be left to suffer alone.

Rabies awareness conducted in the slum areas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where access to education, healthcare, and basic information is often limited. These communities are among the most vulnerable, facing challenges that put both people and animals at risk. Through our awareness programs, we aim to bridge this gap by providing crucial information on rabies prevention, responsible pet care, and the importance of vaccinations. Every session takes us a step closer to ensuring that no one is left uninformed and that every community, no matter how remote, has the knowledge to stay safe.

A successful start to the Surgical Skill Development Program at COVAS, MAFSU Veterinary College, Udgir. This marks the first of three batches, with eight veterinary students gaining hands-on experience to enhance their surgical skills. Empowering the next generation of vets through practical training is key to improving animal healthcare.

Spreading awareness is key to sustaining long-term change in rabies control and humane stray dog management.
