🏆VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH: MOIN 🏆

We are so excited to announce Moin as Volunteer of the Month for October 2026!

Moin reached out to us in September about volunteering and jumped on headstrong. He is a dedicated animal lover and cat parent himself. He is also very proactive in caring for community cats, conducting rescue and treatments of injured cats he comes up on.

Moin is still completing his higher education, so he volunteers when he has free time from college. He was of incredible help in planning for Little Purrington. He made almost all of the cardboard houses for our adoptable kittens. Dedicatedly working on them for hours and painting them in pretty colours.

He has become one of our most reliable Hospitality Volunteers. Moin is social and soft spoken, putting new visitors at ease when they first come into the cat area. With speed and efficiency, every visitor who orders food and drinks in the cat area is happy with Moin serving them.

Moin does wonderfully in Feline Enrichment, helping shy cats come out of their shell. He has bonded with Disco and Madonna, who look forward to his butt pats and cuddles when he comes in for his shift. Moin has also formed great relationships with our CCS Hoomans. His friendliness and helpful nature is welcomed and he’s great company during busy days.

We’re so grateful to all that Moin has done, the time that he has dedicated to our cafe, cause and cats!

✨NEW KITTY ALERT✨

Meet our excited boy, Marbles 🫧

Marbles was rescued by Tej, one of the cat catchers of our NGO unit The Feline Foundation during a routine TNR trip. His eyes were in a dreadful condition, bringing him immense pain and discomfort. On examination, the veterinary team realised that one eye was ruptured due to injury and the other eye was non functional. They decided to proceed with a life-saving bilateral eye extirpation surgery, to prevent more complications. With care and love from the team and volunteers at The Feline Foundation, Marbles recovered. Once he received a clean bill of health, he came to Cat Café Studio to find his furrever home 🏠

Marbles was frightened when he was first rescued. In pain from his injury and with no sense of sight, he struggled with socializing while he recovered. So when he arrived at the cafe, our CCS Hoomans took it upon ourselves to make sure he knew the love of humans. He stayed in our office for the first few days and was showered with pets and scritches. Once he headed to the cat area, he bloomed into an extroverted boy🌈

Marbles is not letting blindness stop him from exploring the cat area. His sense of smell and hearing are very strong and he has been navigating around the cat area confidently. He found the water bowl, the litter box and all the cozy spots all by himself on the first day itself💖

Marbles LOVES hoomans. When a visiting hooman passes his extensive sniff test, he takes it upon himself to greet them enthusiastically. He loves to play on their lap and cuddle up with them. He shows his affection by giving little nibbles on their fingers🥰

As safe and happy as we can keep Marbles, he would thrive beautifully in his own home. Marbles would love a home with a calmer lifestyle. With retired adults or a working single person. He wouldn’t mind a kitty friend, but he’d be just as happy to rule the house by himself👑

Do you think Marbles could be the boy for you? Drop us a DM, call us on +91 8291490907 or drop by the Café (Tuesdays - Sundays, 10am - 10pm) to meet him!

Mitchell is done with the behaviour of the kittens!!! 😾

They all try to charm him with their super cuteness but it’s all a scam! Because the kittens are smol and Mitchell is chonk, they only want to use his fluff as a pillow. ✨

Poor Mitchell is tired of the immaturity from the kittens and wants to get out of here meow! He is ready for his furrever home on the condition that there are no kittens or mice there to outsmart him. He just wants to chill and be the cuddly floof that he is with no chuhaas trying to bother him.😭

Think you can give Mitchell the kitten and mouse free home that he dreams of? Get in touch to adopt him! Drop us a DM or call us on +91 8291490907 or drop by the Café (Tuesdays -Sundays, 10am - 10pm) to meet him and all our kitties!

✨NEW KITTY ALERT✨

Meet our dapper gentlemeow, Rumi 🎀

Rumi was rescued by Arti, Cat Catcher of our NGO unit The Feline Foundation in 4 Bunglows. He was found in a dreadful state with hair loss and a skin infection. On further examination from the vets, we also realised that he has a neurological condition and is deaf. We took him in and started him on treatment for the infection. With lots of love and care, Rumi recovered beautifully. Once he received his vaccinations and was sterilized, he headed into the cat area to find his furrever home 🏠

Rumi is a gentle boy. His gaze is soft and tends to wash a calmness over you if you make eye contact with him. With his little head tilt and slow blinks, you can’t help but go “awwwww” 🥺

Rumi loves hooman interaction. He curls up on laps happily and settles in for ages till they have to get up. He doesn’t mind sharing the lap with other kitties. You’ll often find a kitten trying to sneak on to the lap and cuddle up and Rumi will happily oblige🥰

Rumi doesn’t let his deafness stop him from being the bell of the ball! He loves to play, especially with squiggly string toys. The shapes fascinate him and he jumps for joy when one is waved in front of him. He also loves his morning zoomies, chasing kittens around the room 🌈

While we love seeing more and more of Rumi’s purrsonality everyday, we know that the best place for him to open up is a home of his own. He’d love a home with a calmer lifestyle, with a retired couple or a single person. He wouldn’t mind another kitty friend but would also be happy to rule a home by himself. He’s just waiting for his hooman to walk through our doors and claim him furrever💕

Disabled cats like Rumi have a harder time finding their furever family in the pool of adoptable cats. But taking a chance on him will only bring love and companionship into your home🥹

Do you think Rumi could be the boy for you? Let us know! You can also drop us a DM, call us on +91 8291490907 or drop by the Café (Tuesdays - Sundays, 10am - 10pm) to meet our kitties!

Who said volunteering is just about work? We have fun here! Well our new volunteer, Moin certainly does! 🤭

At Cat Café Studio, volunteering isn’t just about working with animals but also having fun with them! Our Volunteer Program is curated for individuals who are looking to contribute to animal welfare given their hectic schedule! 🫶🏻

The benefits of volunteering can be enormous. Not just to the cause you donate your time to, but the rewards that you can gain as a volunteer. ✨The right match can help you to make new friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career.🥳

Helping a cause can also do wonders for one’s physical and mental health. It reduces stress, keeps you mentally stimulated, and provides you a sense of purpose. While it’s true that the more you volunteer, the more benefits you’ll experience, volunteering doesn’t have to involve a long-term commitment. Only a few hours in a week, would mean so much to the cause you’re helping out in. ✨

Is this the activity you have been looking for? Drop us a DM or comment “VOLUNTEER” sign up and help a cause!
