10,000 followers, 61 donations and many of those from volunteers who also give their time and dedication.

If you care about what we do and find our work important, please dig deep into your pocket and make a donation. No matter how small it is. We appreciate every cent.

It is worth noting we are the only charity in County Meath dedicated *solely* to equine rescue and answer our dedicated phone line at all hours and are on hand to assist Gardaí and other agencies 24/7.

Without us, what will happen to all the animals we come across???

Leinster Horse and Pony Rescue is an animal welfare charity based in Trim, Co Meath. We have operated out of our current rented premises for the last thirteen years.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, we received news that our lease will not be renewed. This was a huge shock to us, especially as we head into winter - the busiest time for horse welfare.

After an intense hunt for a new premises, there is now something in the pipeline.

We have found an equestrian premises outside Navan, Co Meath. It ticks all the boxes in terms of what we need but it needs work before we can move in.

Horses were on the land before but not in quit some time. Fences have fallen into disrepair, an isolation unit would need to be installed and gates etc replaced as have also fallen into disrepair.

LHPR management visited the premises recently and estimate we need around €5,000 straight away before it can be made ''horse safe''.

This facility is desperately needed in the area and will serve as a safe heaven for horses currently suffering a life of neglect, cruelty and abandonment.

PLEASE GIVE WHAT YOU CAN TO OUR GOFUNDME APPEAL...
