Keeping horses cool, comfortable and relaxed is always our priority, especially during higher temperatures.

A few simple travel tips:

✔️ Provide access to a salt lick
✔️ Encourage hydration (bobbing for apples in water can help tempt fussy drinkers 🍏)
✔️ Maintain electrolyte balance when needed
✔️ Keep airflow moving with fans & ventilation
✔️ Find shade whenever possible
✔️ Consider travelling at cooler times of the day or overnight

Extra space, fans on, windows open and avoiding peak periods sitting in traffic can all help make the journey more comfortable 🐴
