Athboy Boarding Kennels is a family run business in the heart of the beautiful county of Meath. With over twenty five years of experience breeding and caring for our own kennel of show dogs, you can rest assured that your dog will be expertly cared for by us. Our kennels are state of the art, designed specifically to provide the utmost comfort and safety for your dog. They are fully tiled, heated

and insulated.They are kept spotlessly clean and regularly disinfected. We welcome and encourage visitors to our kennels so that you can be confident about where, and with whom, you will be leaving your dog. The Athboy Boarding Kennels page will share some pictures of our kennels and our guests.

After many weeks of deliberations, we are now looking for a forever home for our 11 week old boy Bucky (Benton Bucky Barnes). He's a beautiful Boxer from our girl Ch Kelvern Mary Berry and dad is GB Ch Lanfrese Argento. He has a sweet tempermant and is a big part of our family so we are looking for an amazing boxer loving home for him. If you want further details, please pm me.

And then there was none......Almost 20 years since we welcomed our first boarder, the last dog Bella left Athboy Boarding Kennels yesterday. While Tony is looking forward to his retirement and a well earned rest, he will miss all his doggy friends and their owners. It has been an emotional summer saying goodbye to everyone and we are truly grateful for all the lovely messages and cards. We are so lucky to have worked at our dream job and have made so may friends along the way. Thank you all for your support 🥺😭

Rather than respond to all the lovely messages individually, we want to say that we are really touched and grateful for all your messages of support and good wishes. Nearly enough for Tony to change his mind and order a new pair of wellies 😂We have made so many great friends through this business and it has been our privilege to mind your wonderful dogs which has brought us so much joy over the years. It's going to be a tough adjustment and our own dogs won't know themselves with all the attention they'll be getting 😁 Your beautiful messages will keep us going through the rest of the year....Thank you everyone

It is with regret that almost 20 years since setting up and running Athboy Boarding Kennels, Tony is finally hanging up his wellies 😁Tony hopes that the dog boarding business will continue with a new owner as the kennels are a much need service for the dog owners of Athboy, Meath, Dublin and Kildare who have been loyal to us over the last 20 years.
