Our Roxy, Thor and Bouncer were up at the crack of dawn for their walkies this morning before the real heat has kicked in by the afternoon.

You know yourself - keep your pet indoors during this hot weather and make sure that any exercise is done either early morning or in the cool of the evening when the sun is going in.

The obvious advice also applies for any animals in your care or ownership: plenty of access to water and provide for some shade away from direct sunlight.

If you have any concerns for the welfare of an animal in these temperatures you can get in touch: we will do our very best to assist along with the Ispca, local authorities and animal welfare charities nationwide.
