Still looking for something to feed in place of DARF? It's something so many of you have asked about.
Our first choice for many of you, is Kudo. Especially if youโre trying to stay with something cold pressed, similarly priced and meat-focused. There are samples available on the website for those of you who are interested in giving it a try.
The main thing to understand when looking at the ingredients is that fresh meat and dried meat percentages are not like-for-like.
Fresh meat naturally contains a lot of water, while dried meat has had most of that moisture removed. So when youโre comparing 60% fresh meat to 30-35% dried meat, the dried meat percentage can actually represent more meat once moisture is taken into account.
If your dog was doing well on DARF and youโre not sure what to switch to, Kudo is definitely one to consider.
As always, if you have any questions, just send us a message.
