This month marks Rainbow Bridge’s first anniversary. Over our first year we have donated over €2500 to the Laois SPCA, to give the cats and dogs in their care a second chance at happiness.
We would like to sincerely thank all the crew at the Laois SPCA for all the support they gave us to help us throughout our first year… we couldn’t have done it without you.

To mark our second year, we are announcing our new charity partner for the year ahead, Cara Rescue Dogs. As usual, each month a donation will be made to Cara Rescue Dogs in memory of all the cats, dogs and other pets who come through our gates.

If you are sadly having to say goodbye to your friend, we hope you can take some comfort in knowing that your beloved pet’s farewell helps provide food, shelter and medical care to animals who are waiting for their forever homes.

This is Noah Sikora, a three-year-old who was tragically killed after being knocked down in the car park of a Dublin shopping centre. 💔

The incident happened in the underground car park at Charlestown Shopping Centre in Dublin on Wednesday morning, shortly after 8.40 am. Emergency services and gardaí rushed to the scene, and three-year-old Noah was transported to Temple Street Children's Hospital, but sadly passed away from his injuries later that afternoon.

Now, friends and neighbours of Noah's family have come together to set up a fundraiser in an effort to take some strain off the grieving family by covering the cost of the toddler's funeral.

The GoFundMe reads: "It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of little Noah. The three-year-old boy lost his life in a tragic accident after being struck by a car in a local car park.

"Noah was only three years old. He was a beloved son and a source of endless joy to his family. His sudden loss has left an unimaginable pain and emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him.

"During this incredibly difficult time, friends, neighbours and members of the community would like to come together to support the family and help cover the funeral costs. Any support, no matter how small, will mean a great deal to the family. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Thank you for your kindness, compassion and support for Noah and his family."
