Easter treats are tasty for us humans but can be very toxic for our pets!

Dogs and cats should under no circumstances be fed chocolate or hot cross buns ( because of the raisins in them)! These can result is serious illness or even death.

However accidents can sometimes happen and your pet can have helped themselves to some Easter treats - if this happens, contact your vet immediately - do not wait for signs of ill health to appear as it may be too late to help.

Our practice will have a vet on call 24 hours for emergencies - we are here if you need us on the usual number 029 70086.
