This Monday 1st June 2026 from 10am onwards at ‚Banner‘

For horses aged 4–7 years with recorded breeding:

4-year-olds: 90cm
5-year-olds: 1.00m
6-year-olds: 1.10m
7-year-olds: 1.20m
Prize money is €200 in each height category, as well as €100 to the breeder of the winner in each class.

For ponies aged 7 years and younger with recorded breeding:

128cm ponies: 90cm
138cm ponies: 1.00m
148cm ponies: 1.10m
Prize money is €200 in each height category, as well as €100 to the breeder of the winner in each class.

This initiative aims to:

Promote the recording of breeding information
Encourage correct production
Provide a competitive pathway
Strengthen the Western Region’s contribution
Kindly supported by the Breeding Grant Initiative under the National Breeding Services by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and delivered by Horse Sport Ireland.
