Went in search of a pic of my mug today for a project with the and decided it’s time I introduced myself to my new followers and thanked everyone for following along on my journey!!!

For those who don’t know me I’m Ciara founder of the Potting Shed just outside Kilcullen. I am a florist and create flowers for every occasion, I also open the shop every Friday and Saturday 10-2 although summer hours vary so always watch my IG and Facebook reels and stories.

This year I have decided to spend the month of June away with my crew so sadly my shop will be closed then and the remainder of the summer it’s just manic with weddings and events, which is a great complaint, but you need not worry all the products I sell are on my website thepottingshed.ie, and I’m always at the end of the phone!

Apart from the month of June I work away each day as a studio based florist so never worry I can always create something for any occasion and deliver in Kildare and some parts of Dublin!

If I’m not in the studio, I’m either in the tunnel growing veg to feed my family or pottering around my garden growing fab flowers. I usually grow lots of Dahlias, Sweet Peas, Roses and unusual Annuals, which I often post on my stories, this year especially everywhere looks stunning and there is beauty in nature everywhere in this little country of ours!!

Well that’s a Potting Shed wrap for 2024. A million thanks to each and everyone of you who come and visit and attend workshops your support is phenomenal and greatly appreciated.

To all my beautiful brides who make my flowers look stunning and trust my vision and vibe to be a part of their special day.

To all my bereaved clients who entrust me with their final gift to a loved one as they depart from this earth.

Not to mention the fabulous crew who work here helping to keep all the balls in the air, you are all amazing and I love working with you all!!! Including my long suffering husband who’s recently acquired the title “delivery guy” 🙈🙈🙈

I’ll see you in 2025 but I really hope you have a happy, peaceful Christmas surrounded by family and friends.

All Wreath Workshops are completely sold out many thanks for all your support and I’m so sorry to everyone who didn’t manage to secure a spot!! I think I need an extension on the potting shed! 🙈🙈🙈
