First 4 days in Kenya 🇰🇪❤️ Uganda still to come 🇺🇬

The past few days have been an experience we’ll never forget. From meeting incredible people, visiting local communities and Nairobi Hospice, to seeing firsthand the impact that support and kindness can make — every day here has been both eye-opening and inspiring.

We’ve laughed, learned, and been reminded why this journey matters so much. So grateful to be here with the Hope on Wheels team alongside , and everyone involved 🌍🚑

And this is only the beginning… Uganda is still to come 🇺🇬❤️

I didnt take a before photo only a mid way one, but his owner nearly didnt recognise him. He was like a differnt dog. Matting removed & he had a spring in his step going home 🥰❤️🐾

1st time with us, but not his first time being clipped!
Owner’s request—but always a reminder: shaving a Pom too short can damage that beautiful coat 🐶
Their fluff protects them, so less coat = more risk of heat & sunburn 🌞. We kept it as safe as possible 🤞

I’m taking on something pretty special in a couple of weeks 💚

I’m volunteering with Hope on Wheels, helping deliver ambulances that will become mobile palliative care clinics in Uganda. Right now, many people living with serious illness there have little or no access to pain relief or support.

We’ll be driving these vehicles all the way from Kenya to Uganda—each kilometre bringing care, dignity, and comfort closer to those who need it most.
