Hey guys, just wanted to wish very one a safe and happy Christmas. That year just went by so quickly, it's hard to believe.

I want to thank all my beautiful clients for all their support over the past year, I really do have the best that anyone could ask for. I love seeing each and everyone of you coming through the gates, the craic does be 90. Thanks so much for all the laughs in 2022, its been a blast.

Thank you all for all the gifts this year for myself and the little man, your generosity is overwhelming 🥰

I hope everyone looks after themselves, eats too much and drinks way too much over the Christmas, sure that's what it's all about 🐷

I'm taking a nice long break this year to spend with my wonderful family, Im not back until the 17th of January. My phone will be off and will be logging out of Facebook. If anyone asks me to groom their dogs when I'm out and about, my advice would be duck 🤣🤪

Morning guys, I bought these bandanas awhile back and forgot I had them!! They slip through the dogs collars so very easy to put on. They are €10 each and only have 1 of each colour apart from the one in the first picture. Ideal size for small-medium dogs. Perfect little stocking filler for your pups. Hey guys, hope everyone is keeping well. So my most dreaded time of the year is approaching, doing up next years appointments for everyone 😭

This year will take me twice as long to get them sorted so I'll get cracking on the asap.

If you would like your appointments done up for you for 2023, please drop me a text with how long you want left between appointments and what days/times suit you best. I will only be working Tuesday-Thursday for the time being. My usual appointment times at 9am, 12pm & 2.30pm.

If you would like to send me your dates for the year, you will definitely earn extra browny points 😂

Appointments will be given to regulars only and if there's any left, I will post it on here.

Guys this harness is one of the best I've seen and I have seen a lot in my day. Its super lightweight, fits like a glove and the quality is second to none. It's so easy to put on, just slip it over the head and fasten the belly strap, job done. The personalised name tags are just the icing on the cake, im in love 🤩

Skye is wearing a size large. There is so much room to adjust the straps as she grows (hopefully not too much bigger 🙈)

Good morning guys, I hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

I'm getting a lot of last minute cancellations or people not turning up for their appointments.

It's very hard running a small business in these times especially with the rising costs of everything and then people not turning up is making it increasingly harder to stay open.

I know most of you guys know that my phone is turned off after work. This is for me to have a healthy work life balance. But obviously some are unaware of this. So texting me at 10pm the night before your 9am appointment is no use to me at all. Firstly I don't see the message until the phone is turned on in the mornings and then it's too early to start calling/ texting people on my cancellation list so therfore there's a wasted appointment for both myself and customers waiting to get in.

When people don't turn up for appointments, by the time I realise this, it's too late to get someone else in, again a wasted appointment.

I know genuine emergencies come up and that's no problem at all but forgetting about your appointment or deciding that your dog doesn't need their hair done just before your appointment is no use to anyone.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please give me as much notice as possible to enable me to fill it.

If the day/ time your booked in doesn't suit anymore, please give me as much notice as possible and I can see if someone can swap with you, 9 times out of 10 this can be done.

If you have been given your appointments for the year, please set a reminder in your phone, put them in your diary, on your calendar or wherever you need to so you don't forget. A reminder text is sent out from my booking system 24 hours before your appointment so in my opinion, you shouldn't be forgetting!!

If you no longer need your appointment and I have not been given 24hours notice, I will have to charge you the full price of your groom. I hate to have to do this but unfortunately I've been left with no choice lately as its becoming too frequent.

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all keeping well. I can't believe that I have to post this but obviously everyone doesn't sing from the same hymn sheet.

Can you please refrain from calling unannounced to the salon. I was closed yesterday due to construction work and two people called in. One walked straight in to the builders looking for me and the other one seen work going on so decided to call into my parents house!! I wasn't too pleased about that.

The day before, a lady didn't show up for her appointment in the morning so decided to call in after lunch to apoligise and tell me she didn't come as her son just tested positive for covid!! This blew my mind!!

Unless you have been living under a rock lately, the covid numbers are gone through the roof again so unless you have an appointment, please do not arrive, please call/ text instead.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank everyone that has rescheduled their appointments due to an outbreak in their homes, I will be forever grateful that you have taken the time to keep me and everyone around you safe ❤ Have a great weekend 🐾💞🐾

Next up is a must have for grooming your doggies. I genuinely couldn't do my work without my comb.

A simple as it may sound, this could be where your going wrong with your home brushing.

You need to brush out your dogs coat with your slicker brush and then go through their coat with your comb. This will show you what areas you have missed with your brushing. The comb will catch the matts and then you can go back over that areas with your slicker brush.

Once you can brush through your dogs coat with the comb, you know you haven't missed anywhere and voila, happy dog that's matt free 🥰

Again, these are professional dog grooming combs, made of stainless steel which will last a lifetime.

Do you ever look at your dog and their coat is fabulous and then literally over night and they are a mess and beginning to matt 😪

You then call your groomer and they are booked out for weeks, possibly months in advance. Panic sets in and you ring around but can't get in anywhere, everyone is booked out 😲😲

The only way to stop this from happening is book your dogs appointments in advance. This way, you can have their coat at a length that is manageable for you and the dog. You can pick and choose what days/ times suit you best. You dont need to worry about them getting matted and coming out of the groomers resembling a chicken 🙈

Most of my clients prebook their appointments for the whole year so they never have any of the above worries. So whether your dog gets groomed every 6 weeks or every 6 months, plan ahead and contact your groomer to get booked in. If you would like me to do up dates for you, drop me a message and I'll get them done up asap for you. 💖🐾💖
