I did first session on both Greta and Alfie who are both over 10 years old with some mobility issues, restricted range of motion, stiffness.

They both were wonderful to work on, and got some exercises to work on till I see them next 😉

Ben is a 12yo happy boy, adopted by his new owners less than 2 years ago. He has hind leg weakness without obvious reason- CT scan was non conclusive. We adjusted to the home environment, and came up with prescription exercises, which are to be done several times a day.

What can you do to help your dog with mobility issues?

- slippery floors- I see them nearly in every single home. Put cotton rugs down to create a full path from the back door, to the kitchen//living room to the front door.

- keep the nails short and cut hair between the pad and toes. Keep the paws neat and hair free.

- weight- so many dogs are over the weight they should be! Replace all the snacks with healthy option- carrots, apples ... So many options out there!

I'll be adding more tips !

Lola is only 5yo and she's permanently lame, her two front paws have deformity, with only 4 digits (toes) and only 2 of those only really being properly used at walk.

Lola's parents were shown how to mobilise the joints in those toes, brace for her left carpal joint, adjustments in her daily routine and environment.
