It’s a sad day today at Blackrock Vet Clinic as we say farewell to our wonderful Vet Louise & her beautiful Cocker Spaniel Burdie 🐾

Louise has been such an integral part of the team at Blackrock Vet, she is so knowledgeable in so many aspects of Veterinary and has helped save so many patients during her time here.

She will be missed by all the staff, patients and clients, we wish her all the best in her new position!

Diwali is almost here! 🔦

While the Festival of Lights is a special time for families, the fireworks can be unsettling for pets. A few ways to help them feel safe:

🎆Walk dogs earlier in the day before celebrations begin.
🎆Close curtains and play calming music to soften loud bangs.
🎆Create a safe space with their favourite blanket and toys.
🎆Make sure pets are microchipped and collars are secure, just in case they get startled.
