Halloween is here...BOO!
Happy (Scary) Samhain to you and yours! All dogs were willing participants in these shenanigans! 🤣
Carefull this evening with the loud fireworks and callers to the door. Please make sure all your animals are in and secure today. Check fencing and gates Radio/tv turned up to drown out the noise. Careful with costume accessories, they may look delicious. Please make sure all the treats are also secure(or drop them into me😜). Stay safe!

Keep them cool folks. Dangerous out there! They will forgive you if you skip a few walks this week.

We offer a "comfort" groom. Literally just shaving them down due to very warm weather.

Fresh water, iced water (freeze a bowl of water and drop it in, big ice cubes to avoid choke hazards), pupsicles (frozen treats in water), splash pads, soak towels and drape them over them. Also put out shallow bowls of water for the wildlife, they need help too. Thank you. Aidan.

Sweet little lady 🥰😘🥰
Hand stripping is so important for wire-coated dog breeds because it removes dead hair from the coat. Which in turn stimulates new, healthy growth, preserves the coat's natural texture and color, prevents dullness and excessive matting, and protects the skin by allowing it to breathe. This technique mimics how a dog's ancestors would naturally remove dead hair in the wild, helping to maintain the hardy, wiry texture that is characteristic of breeds like terriers.
