This week I lost a week with you all on our page over being so ill.
I had started to feel better yesterday but today its back with vengeance.

So please I will need you all to help with our fundraiser today Im not physically or mentally able. I just need any to crawl back to bed….. 😔

At the moment there is so many animals in the dark world that need out. I am getting what I can but without a successful fundraiser we are running on empty.

The German Shepherd.
Dolly we named her is in a shocking state. So thin. Very bad skin condition from living in filth. She needs a dental. Her teeth are bad. Then all her other vet work too.

Molly is 6 yrs old. An ex breeder.
At least she is in good condition.
She does need a mammary tumour removed while she is being spayed. Plus all her other vet work.

These two kittens were found dumped/straying and handed into our vets. They too need all their vet work too.

I really need to recover but I am badly needed at work too.

Can we get this fundraiser off the ground to take the main pressure off me? 🙏
It would mean a lot.

Im going back down to Animal Haven Ireland at the end of September for the weekend to volunteer. Anyone wanting to donate anything for the animals they would be very grateful.
Main Items needed:
*240 litre black bin bags (Home Bargains have strong ones)
*Wet and dry Dog and Cat food
* Cleaning items like washing up liquid, bleach, washing powder, Antibac Spray, large sponge Scourers, Antibac wipes
* Dog/Cat crates
*Towels
*Blankets ( no duvets this trip)
* Dog jumpers/jackets for the winter all sizes
Also any £/€ for their vet and feed bills.

I also got you an update on the new puppy who is still with our vet.

Our vet said he was without a humerus bone as well as the paw.

In blunt it is just like an empty little purse hanging there.

Our vet wants him to get stronger first and then he will do surgery to remove it.

He is such a happy little man beside it all.

Apologies for being off radar.

I cant tell you how sick Ive been. Thankfully the medication is finally kicking in. Thank you to everyone who sent lovely messages.

I was five mins back today and straight on to the dark world where I had heard a fox cub was held captive.

Yes I have her safe. She is so thin and god love her she was so happy to see food and water.

Tomorrow she starts her journey to the amazing wildlife experts who will then take over. Professionally rehabbing her.

Today Aug 26th is international National Dog Day.
A dogs love and loyalty knows no bounds, so on this their special day, if you are lucky enough to already have a doggy friend in your life, they deserve a few extra treats and cuddles to mark the occassion. If you are considering adding a dog to your canine family then do check out your local rescues, there are so many dogs here and in shelters all over the country just waiting for that special someone to see them and give them their forever home. So why not take the chance, we promise they are so worth it.

Suzanne has come down with a bad virus and is out of action at the moment but she asked me to let you all know we raised €3800 on Friday. A huge thank you to everyone who donated. Your support means so much x

Its Friday…….. again 😔

The days are going way too fast and its always Friday now. The day I dislike more than anything.

We still cant open the flood gates which is really deflating me but we are trying to get a few of the very vulnerable out like these two 8 week old pups that were in the dark world up to an hour ago.

One has either a broken paw or was born deformed.

We have managed to get them a lift down to us, thanks to a friend.

The pup in question will need x rays.
Both boys will need to start their puppy vaccines. Start their parasite treatment and get chipped.

Then we have to hit a 5,000 eu target to survive until next Friday. Thats without chipping away at any outstanding bills.

Will you all chip in?
Even the price of a sticky cake?

There is so much support on our page that a team effort would make such an impact to our centre 🙏

These little scraps were left in a box outside a womans house in Roscommon and she brought them to the Roscommon dog pound.
They had to get out of the pound ASAP as they were liable to get Parvo being so young.
They must be from the dark world as their tails are docked.

Thank you Billy and everyone involved for saving them.

Would anyone help sponsor them?
They are on the way now to our vets to start their vet work.

Poor Buzz is still here waiting, now 2 yrs old.

He loves other cats and shares with a group.
Litter trained and spotless.

He likes dogs to keep out of his business and he avoids them too.

Would anyone give him a chance?
