And another vet visit… 😮‍💨

We’ll pop a video of his first night in the comments, but here is River’s back story 🤍

Jan 15th 2023 was the night we finally caught River, at that time he was known as ‘dingle cat’.

Paulie had seen him begging for food outside The Di**le Pub multiple times over that Christmas period (paulie is a musician so works late at night) & he noticed an injured neck that proceeded to get worse looking every time he was spotted.

Nobody claimed this cat, but multiple people had been feeding him and it was suggested that he may have come from a big colony near the church or down by the river.

It took a little while to catch him that wet night but we finally got him into our car - our 9mth old in tow - and after a couple vet visits &
a couple of foster homes, he bounced right back to us and that is where he’s stayed 🤍

These two lovely kittens are in the care of a fabulous family who have previously fostered for us too so no doubt that they will be fully socialised & the perfect additions - remember, its easier to have two kittens believe it or not!!🥰

We are being blessed by our friend Laura of Rain & Wild who has decided to do a **32K** run on her birthday next week to raise funds for us here at Miraclehill microsanctuary!! 🥹

Laura has set up her own GoFundMe (gofund.me/54252291) which is linked in the bio of her Instagram & TikTok - please also support her business directly by buying one of her handmade candles, they are divine!!

This is also the second time that Laura has done a fundraiser for us.
The first time was 3 years ago (which predates the Miraclehill pages but is on Nats personal page) when we took on a huge surrender of chickens from a private residence in Killarney - it was intense to say the least, very emotionally draining & ended up being very expensive too as there were a lot of sick and injured birds on the property 😮‍💨
