Our sweetheart Jack is currently at the vets having his horns shortened drastically. You’ll see from the pics they’re growing into one ear and pushing another forward. The horns are pressing against his skull and face making it uncomfortable for him to eat so he’s lost some weight while we made the decision on what to do.
Will update later but in the meantime keep this sweet boy in your thoughts 🐑 ❤️

🐾 Meet Dexter – A Distinguished Gentleman in Search of Love 🐾

Dexter is a sweet, wonderful older chap—about 12 years young—neutered, vaccinated, and an absolute cuddle connoisseur. He’s got a heart full of love and a strong preference for being your one and only (cat, that is). He’s pretty laid back and loves nothing more than being cuddled up to you.

Dexter’s had a bit of a bumpy road. He was once in a loving home, but when his humans moved, he sadly couldn’t go with them. A kind person stepped in to give him a second chance—and they’ve done an amazing job helping him feel safe and loved again. But… Dexter and the resident cat have reached a bit of a standoff. Dexter’s made it clear: he’d prefer to rule his castle solo.

He does currently live with one other cat and dogs, but we think he’d truly shine as the center of someone’s universe.

Dexter isn’t directly in our sanctuary, but we helped find his last home and we’re committed to finding him the happy ending he deserves. If you’re looking and have a quiet, cat-loving home for one incredibly affectionate boy, please get in touch—we’ll connect you with the lovely person caring for him now.

Dear Friends,

Just a quick post to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your kindness and generosity in donating to support the care of the animals at the sanctuary.

Thanks to your help, we've already managed to pay off nearly a third of our outstanding bill - an incredible achievement and one we're so very grateful for. Every message of support, every share and every donation makes a real difference.

Please continue to share our posts and support us however you can. It would mean the world to get this bill as close to cleared as possible so we can keep providing the care our animals need.

A Heartfelt Plea from Our Sanctuary

Dear friends

This is again something I hate to do but I’m writing with a heart full of love for the animals in our care & deep gratitude for every single person who’s ever supported us. Today I’m asking for your help.

Our small sanctuary is facing another difficult moment in its journey. The cost of feed & bedding has now taken us to 3 times over our credit limit. Barrett's have been incredibly kind to us, beyond what we ever expected but we know their generosity can’t go on forever. The heartbreaking reality is that without support we won’t be able to feed the very souls we’ve promised safety to.

Every single day we wake up & pour our hearts into caring for these animals many of whom came to us from neglect, fear, suffering. They’ve found peace here. They trust us to keep them safe. Right now, that promise is in jeopardy.

We are always deeply thankful to all who sponsor the animals and to those who donated to our last GoFundMe, we didn't reach our target so still behind.
