The Forgotten Paws of Greece The Forgotten Paws of Greece are a non profit organisation run by Alan and Tracey. Tracey and Alan have been rescuing and fostering animals for many years.

They take into their own home disabled, old and blind animals from all over Greece. The Forgotten Paws of Greece are a non-profit organisation run by Alan and Tracey. They have literally fostered 1000s of animals for charity organisations. However, they have a passion for helping the ones that no one else wants to help….. THE FORGOTTEN AND SPECIAL ONES. The old, the disabled, the sick and blind an

imals, not just from Zakynthos but have recently been taking them from the Greek mainland. They have both been inspired by their beloved Titan, who was once thought to be so ill due to being shot in the face that he wouldn't make it as maggots was literally eating him alive. He has been left blind and half of his face is missing, but Alan and Tracey gave him the love and care required, which in turn gave him the inspiration to want to live. He has an amazing quality of life regardless of his disabilities. They now specialise in taking the animals that no one else wants to help. Most of these poor animals being advertised for help make people cry and tug at their heart strings, but hardly anyone comes forward to take these animals in temporarily or indeed permanently. Some are old, sick, blind, paralysed. Some will stay permanently with Alan and Tracey, whilst others can hopefully be rehomed into special people's lives. It has become so much more than just the odd animal here and there. So much so a group of special individuals have come together in the hope of raising funds for those that need vet treatment and getting sponsorship to help with food and ongoing medical costs for those that will stay with Alan and Tracey. Any donations are truly welcome be that one off donations or a regular monthly they sponsorship. PayPal [email protected]

friends we want you to introduce to you our new house guest “Tiny Tim”
This tiny little man who is over 8 years old and the size of a chihuahua arrived today !
He was found thrown away like rubbish on a farm on the mainland! The farm has huge Greek Shepherds guarding it which could gave ripped this tiny chap apart! Luckily the farm is owned by our amazing friend Joanna who grabbed him and made him safe .
He had very serious health issues including a liver infection and much worse a Perineal Hernia. This was life threatening as he couldn’t p**p and he must have been in such pain.
The operation to correct/ repair his intestines could only be done by a few specialists on the mainland, on Monday he had his operation and today he was healthy enough to travel and come to us!
We thank GAR Greek Animal Rescue who have kindly paid for this life saving operation for him when he was also sterilised ( which the specialist advised was best to do ).
We will care for him and help him recover both physically and mentally and hope one day he will be able to be adopted.
He has a big personality showing through already and just loves people and cuddles ! He has a long way to go but already thanks to his guardian angels ! he now has a great chance at a wonderful new life !
