Yay so excited to have Sissy and Coleby here!!!

We are OVERJOYED to share with you that enough donations have been raised to get Coleby and Sissy out of Cyprus and into the wonderful home of Lilac Cat Lady for foster!

We are so grateful for all of her efforts to help seek donations for them, as well as sharing stories of the plight of Cyprus cats and who we are🥰

And of course, we are grateful for every penny that has been donated for these 2🧡💙🩷🧡

Coleby and Sissy have been through a lot of trauma, but are very much bonded siblings. They lived at a petrol station in Ayia Napa, where kittens were dying of a horrific infection, that they both went on to endure💔
It affected their mouth and jaw area.

As a result, this is why Sissy has her tongue hanging out one side of her mouth. The infection started around the mouth and gums and spread further😣

This happened during the autumn months. Back in May, they also both needed teeth removing.

They are both shy and nervous around new people, they need time and patience to find their feet. But once they trust you, they are very loving and attentive🥰

Their chances of adoption in Cyprus are pretty much slim to none and keeping them in a foster home in a country where there are many cats needing a life saving foster home just didn’t seem fair on anyone. So we of course jumped at the chance to be able to get them into the UK on foster, where chances of adoption are much higher.

As a responsible organisation, they are of course already neutered. They are ready to go on the passport front too ✈️

Fully vaccinated, well loved and cared for, but it’s time for a new chapter for both Coleby and Sissy🫶🏻

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY GARY, 2 years today!!!

If you're travelling to a country with a large stray cat issue this summer and Come across a cat who needs help, of course the first thing would be to reach out to local rescues. However please consider that most sanctuaries are run by normal, every day people who do not get paid for this and do not have any funding. They are usually completely overrun and do not have the physical, financial, mental or emotional capability to take in every cat that tourists contact them about

If you reach out to local sanctuaries and they aren't in a position to take them in, YOU may be that cats only chance of survival! If you dont have a carrier, you can ask local sanctuaries if you can borrow one, or you can buy one. If you dont have a car you can get a taxi. You may have to pay someone to foster them whilst the cat gets their vaccinations to prepare for travel. If you are struggling to pay, start a gofundme and share your story online - there is a massive community online who may be able to help you save this cats life. Don't be embarrassed to ask people for help - this may be a life or death situation for the cat.

Fast forward a couple of months and you will have a new best friend for life 💜

So many lovely kitties looking for their forever homes!
