I have a strong background in small animal and equine care and I offer a variety of pet care services.

We have some new lovely faces to meet and some you may already know 🐾🐶

Meet Roxy 🐾

This gorgeous girl enjoyed some company the other afternoon, ahead of her holiday care with me soon. She’s the biggest affectionate baby around 🥹🐕

Meet Munchkin (and her brother Buddy)

Munchkin is a Russian Dwarf Hamster that had long little nails. Luckily her owner picked up on this nice and early to prevent any pain or discomfort to Munchkin. Buddy had a little check over and didn’t require a nail clip 😊

Meet Amber 🐾

I’ve been caring for little Amber since she was a much smaller puppy, and it’s been a pleasure watching her grow. She’s a fun, caring girl, an she’s incredibly fast catching her ball 🐶

Meet Bonnie and Socks 🐾

This adorable pair have been enjoying their walks with me, whilst we get to know each other before their owners go on holiday. Each visit they’ve grown in confidence and trust which has been amazing 🐶

These siblings enjoy lots of play time on our visits, at one point we had all the toys out 🫣

Meet Billy, Lewis, Coco and Cece (Cece was too shy for a photo) 🐾

Baby Billy has a lot of growing to do and hasn’t yet integrated with his big siblings. This meant he needed a lot of attention and special care to make sure he was content and healthy. His big brother and sisters enjoyed the attention too ☺️

Special dedication to the most improved Pup🐕

Meet Tux 🐾

Little Tux has always struggled with having his nails trimmed. This led to him feeling very anxious about any form of restraint or handling. I have visited Tux only 3 times and each time I’ve learnt a little more about Tux.

We worked with Tux to figure out where he feels most safe.

With is favourite sausage and his owners there for support, Tux is fear free of his nail trimming now.

It feels so rewarding as a Veterinary Nurse to see animals relax and feel safe in situations they once feared.

Well done Tux 👏🦴

Let’s meet some of the lovely faces I visited this week ☺️

Meet Maisie 🐾

Adorable Maisie has been having desensitisation sessions to nail trimming. After developing a fear to her nail trims during a groom, her owner thought it was best to try an at home approach. Maisie also has had a pain assessment with her vet, where she will be having further investigations.

Meet Gadget 🐾

I was fortunate to care for Gadget again this week whilst her owners were on holiday 🥹🐈‍⬛

Meet Cooper 🐾

This handsome pup had his first nail trim 💅
He was amazing for his first time, and of course loved all the snacks 🐕

Meet Effy 🐾

We all know miss Effy from her impressive behaviour in her little video. Shes awesome 🐕

Meet Hendrick 🐾

I’m lucky enough to be caring for Hendrick (Hendy for short) whilst his owners on holiday. He makes every walk and interaction so special 🐶

Effy is learning so much at the moment, and one of her activities is learning to have her nails trimmed and feet handled.
I feel so grateful to be able to go on this journey with her 🐶

Another incredible week with all these beautiful faces 🐾

This week we’ve welcomed a new puppy face 😆

Meet Effy 🐾

This little pup is a Hungarian Vizsla, with lots of energy and character. Effy’s owners have been clicker training, which Effy is picking up so quickly. Effy also had her nails trimmed this week, and she was amazing!

Meet Gadget 🐾

I’ve been visiting this little lady everyday this week whilst her family are on holiday. She loves her salmon lick treat and a cuddle 🥹

Meet Poppy🐾

Poppy’s owners are on holiday too, and just like last time Poppy comes to greet me with a meow “wheres my food please”. She does also love a fuss and often tries to follow me out 🐈‍⬛

Meet Bruce 🐾

This dude is a returning favourite 🐈‍⬛ He struggled to choose between eating and wanting attention which is funny to watch.

Meet Maxi 🐾

This wonderful lady has an incredible our and she gets so excited for cuddles, she’s often dribbling 🥹

Meet Snowball and Peanut 🐾

This adorable pair enjoyed some celery whilst I trimmed their nails. They were incredibly brave and cute 🤩
