This little girl is 5 months old and she’s just beautiful 🤩

Our short walks involve lots of play, treats and training.
Ambers’ owners wanted to make sure she gains a variety of experiences, such as meeting new people, sounds and smells to develop her socialisation 🐕‍🦺

Everything is new to a puppy, and it’s important to introduce experiences slowly.
I aim to create positive experiences and prevent overwhelm with puppy socialisation 🐾

Meet Luna 🐾

This was Lunas’ first time having her nails trimmed and she’s not keen on her feet being touched.
Firstly I allowed Luna to trust me with lots of treats and patience ☺️🍬
Once she was comfortable, I started to touch her legs and paws. With time and food, all of Luna’s nails were trimmed. She was a very good girl 🐕

This brave girl had her nails trimmed for the first time yesterday.
Introducing a puppy to nail trimming takes time, patience, a gentle approach and positive reinforcement.

I recommend that puppy’s paws are handled regularly, even during play so they get used to the sensation.

I can help guide you on this journey and when your puppy is ready, I can make a positive experience around nail clipping 🐾

Did you know Guinea pigs have four toes on their front feet but only three on their back feet❓

This evolutionary adaption helps them balance in rough terrain and efficiently dig burrows 🐹

Meet Nova 🐾

This lovely girl finds vet practices quite overwhelming, with all the noise and stimulation making her stressed.

At home, where she feels more comfortable, we took things nice and slowly 🐕
I gently handled her feet and rewarded calm behaviour with food and fuss.

She relaxed so much and did brilliantly having her nails trimmed 💛
