Today I've been working on a hand touch with Honey. At first she was very excited and was lunging at my hand and biting. I did a little shaping with her - not rewarding a touch with teeth, and jackpot rewarding her when she was gentle. She's showing so much understanding for what I'm asking if her, and using lots of self control 🥰

A simple and fun confidence building game for puppies, getting them used to a variety of surfaces under foot and the different noises they make. I played this with my own spaniels when they were small and I thought I'd give it a go with Honey today 🥰

This week we welcomed gorgeous little Honey the working cocker spaniel! I am starting to feel puppy broody again but I must not get any more dogs!!!
