⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️NEW DOG DAY⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today we welcomed Hannah to the Top Dog family.

She initially came for an assessment to see how she would get on around other dogs. I think it’s safe to say she had an absolute blast! She LOVED meeting everyone, had a great play with Wilma, Casper & Bramble and was just a social butterfly!

It’s so lovely to see how my existing dogs welcome newbies into the groups. It’s all done carefully, you can’t just pop a new dog into a large group of dogs and expect it to work out. To start with Hannah was introduced to the 2 top dogs (Rocco & Barkley) and then each other dog is introduced individually so as not to overwhelm her. We then lead walk round the field all together and then 1 dog at a time is let off until everyone is free but remaining calm. Some dogs want to interact, some just trundle off doing their own thing. Hannah wanted to meet them all 😍

She will be joining her new chums on a Wednesday for play dates which is wonderful and a great education for her.

It must be spring as the robot mowers are back out to keep the fields tidy.

We have 3 different mowers, I’ve named them all - Mowhammed does the puppy pen and small training area, Mow Farrah does the agility field and Jason Momower does my social field. Cooper wasn’t sure what this mower was and what it was doing! 🤣

This week we said goodbye to Amber & Nala who are sadly no longer in my area 😢

Not ashamed to say I had a little cry during our last walk as these girls have been adorable bundles of fun. They will be greatly missed! 🥰
