Something was lurking at Vets for Pets Eastleigh and fortunately, it wasn't Dracula. 🦇

Just in time for Halloween, the team welcomed a male pipistrelle bat who had been found cold and dazed. Weighing just 12g, the team gave their tiny visitor a health check before contacting Bats Conservation Trust, who helped with his rehabilitation and getting him ready to continue on his way. Well done team 💚

‼️ Quick poll: Which pet-owner behaviour are you MOST guilty of? 👀👇

(the more unhinged the better)

‼️ PSA: this is your reminder to make sure your pet's microchip and ID tag details are up to date. ✅

Halloween is fun, but for some pets, it's a scary time. Even the calmest of pets can become spooked by costumes and masks. We're asking pet owners to keep them inside where possible and to double-check that their contact details are up to date in the event they become spooked and bolt.

We have some amazing animals looking for their forever homes at Pets At Home, Wrexham. But some who are often over looked are the wonderful rats! 🐀

These two boys have been with us now for a few months and still haven't found that perfect home ❤️

Did you know that rats are actually super intelligent animals, and can even show empathy towards other rats - showing they really do have feelings 🥰

Vixen and Blitzen are looking for their forever home together 🏡❤️

They are very sweet young girls, about 6 months old. Because of their young age, it does mean they are a little nervous and skitty so will need lots of patients and TLC. 🥰

If you think you would be able to offer an indoor home for these two girls, please give us a call or pop into store to speak to a member of staff.
