🐾 NEW PUPPY COURSE JUST RELEASED!

Due to our puppy classes being fully booked, I’ve opened an additional evening course!

✨ Starting Wednesday 1st July
✨ 7:45pm
✨ Vale School, Findon
✨ Limited spaces available
✨ ABTC registered trainer

If you’ve recently welcomed a new puppy and would like to give them the very best start in life, this six-week course is designed to help you build a confident, well-mannered companion using positive, reward-based training.

We’ll cover:
🐶 Recall
🐶 Loose lead walking
🐶 Settling and focus
🐶 Appropriate socialisation
🐶 Impulse control
🐶 Handling and grooming preparation
🐶 Biting and puppy mouthing
🐶 Building confidence and engagement
🐶 And much more!

Classes are kept small to ensure plenty of individual support, and you’ll also receive a training manual, free treats, group WhatsApp support throughout the course, plus a certificate and rosette on completion.

🎓🐾 Huge congratulations to our latest Puppy School graduates! 🐾🎓

A huge well done to our gorgeous pups Charlie, Nelly, Louis, Ruby & Winston – you have all come such a long way and it’s been such a joy watching your confidence grow week by week. From those early puppy moments to building real-life skills, you and your humans have worked so hard 👏

🌷 Keep your furry friends safe this spring!

Did you know that many spring bulbs, including daffodils, are poisonous to dogs if they eat them? Don't allow your dog to nibble on any daffodils, tulips, hyacinths or bluebells, and don't allow them to drink the water from a vase with any of these flowers inside.

Symptoms to look out for include vomiting and drowsiness, but if you're in any doubt as to whether your dog has ingested any part of these flowers, contact your vet immediately.

📣 A huge round of ap-paws for our latest Puppy School graduates — Blue, Crumble, Harper, Margot, Ruby, and Rosie! 🎉

These six superstars have worked so hard over the past few weeks, building confidence, learning their foundations, and showing off their growing skills. From mastering their sits and downs, to practicing polite greetings and recall, they’ve each made such wonderful progress.

It has been such a joy watching their personalities shine and their confidence grow. Puppy School is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see how they continue to develop into happy, well-rounded dogs.

Well done, graduates — you’ve made us so proud! 🎓🐶💛

Meet Beatriz 💕🐾

A gorgeous example of how we carefully build rock-solid recalls in Puppy School.

In this video, lovely Beatriz is choosing to recall away from toys — which is a big step in our training journey.

We always start with no distractions, then gradually build things up:

➡️ recalling from toy play
➡️ recalling past a picnic 🧺
➡️ recalling alongside other puppies 🐕🐕
➡️ recalling down Temptation Alley 😍 etc

You’ll also spot us reinforcing that all-important collar touch👆. This helps remove any predictability around when the lead is going to go on or off during our walks — so coming back doesn’t mean the fun suddenly ends.

Step by step, distraction by distraction, we set puppies up to choose to come back — even when the world is exciting ✨

🐾 I spent the weekend brushing up on my Dog First Aid skills, renewing for another 3 years — lots of learning, a few laughs, and plenty of reminders of why I love what I do!

We are fully booked for our January courses but I do have a space left on a course starting
25th February at 6.30pm.

Held at the Vale School in Findon for 6 consecutive weeks. For puppies age 12-20 weeks on starting. Free treats, training manual and a WhatsApp group for full support from you tutor and fellow class companions.
