π£π°Bakers Dog Services, wishes all of my followers a very Happy Easter πΈπΊ, but please remember to keep your doggies safe this weekend.
So many of the Easter treats we enjoy can be toxic to our dogs.
CHOCOLATE β this contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs and can make them very poorly. However, even white chocolate can be bad for dogs due to its high fat content (possibly causing issues like tummy upsets or even pancreatitus)
RAISINS, SULTANAS, CURRANTS and GRAPES β although, it is not fully understood why, these foods can potentionally cause fatal kidney failure in some dogs.
SPRING BULBS AND PLANTS - some of these can be poisonous to dogs if ingested by them (even possibly fatal).
If you are worried that your dog may be in danger, please contact your vet as soon as possible.
We wish you a safe and enjoyable weekend together with your lovely pooches xx
