As of 01/12/22, it will be £12 for 60 minutes per dog, £2 extra per dog with a limit of three dogs. All services can be tailored to suit you and your pets.
We also cat sit and provide check in sessions.

Good morning Shire residents!

With the rise in costs of pretty much everything in existence, we are also having to re-evaluate the price of our services.

So from the 1st of December 2022 (01/12/22), we will be charging £12 per 60 minutes for a single animal, £14 for two.

This has not been an easy decision but the rising costs cannot be ignored any longer so on behalf of The Shire Dog Walkers, we apologise but feel three months is ample time to adjust to the cost or make other arrangements. We will be contacting individual clients ASAP but thought this would have a better chance of reaching current and potential clients far more quickly than we can write emails!

Extreme weather warnings are in place which means no dog should be out!
Some dogs are picky and refuse to go in the garden, it happens but that doesn't mean they need a walk. They'll soon get the message that it will be a short excursion then back home to relax. Remember to check the temperature of the pathways!

We will be available for check in sessions only, this week and will review this decision in a few days.

£10 per hour for both walking and check in sessions at the moment. Text or call 07445803801 as we do have some appointments available but it is getting busy so call ahead before you're left struggling.

Good morning, Shire residents! For those outside of the Shire, it's simply morning 😂😂

We're offering free check in sessions for your pets today and tomorrow.

I've made this decision at a personal cost to myself as there are so many of you forced to work in this heat and for that reason, emergency workers, school employees etc, will have first priority.

Please do not take advantage of this offer if you truly can do without or can make other arrangements. Actions have consequences - take that statement at face value and understand in this heat, I'm not a nice person to deal with should you try anything 😘😘 You will also be taking away a service genuinely needed by another human; don't be a cretin.

We are still taking clients on as regulars or one off walks but with the amount of lockdown dogs (so many of you need to start putting the effort into owning a dog!), these appointment times are filling up quickly.

There are only a handful of appointment slots available as of next week due to an influx of clients joining us at The Shire Dog Walkers with the return to work phase we were all expecting.
We have loved getting to know all the new dogs and look forward to meeting the rest however, if you are in need of an animal sitter/walker, please do get in touch as soon as possible to reserve your chosen appointment slot. We apologise in advance if you don't get the time you would prefer but we consider this fair warning to be quick about it!

So many client birthdays to celebrate this month which is a most excellent excuse to eat cake every day!

If you're finding it difficult to fit in your dog's walk with things starting to pick up, give us a message to make things that little bit easier. We've also decided to make our limited time offer a permanent part of our services!

That means your no obligation meet and greet appointment is free along with the first walk and the second and third would be half price. However, once you commit to the first walk, payment is expected beforehand as there are those who expected to abuse the offer with no intention of using our services passed the first free walk. Did we meet our quota for the word walk? 😂😂

So if you want your pup to be as knackered as Henry is after his walk, send a message over to get out of walking them through all fours seasons... during the same walk 😳😂

I'm not sure what's happening but unfortunately we are receiving a lot of phone calls from people who then say they missed a phone call from us. I do not call numbers unless we have received a message or missed call.
I will be contacting my network provider as all the numbers are connected to the phone network Three to try and understand what is happening.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused and please, if you are looking for a dog walker, don't let this put you off. As a small business, something like this could cripple us, it's bad enough trying to survive as a small business in a pandemic without some kind of network issues which we cannot control.
If you are receiving unwanted phone calls, I'm really sorry but it isn't us calling.
