Please read our Dog Grooming Policy
Our priority is to provide a safe, calm, and professional grooming experience for every dog in our care. To protect the wellbeing of both pets and staff, the following terms apply to all grooming appointments.
>Health and Safety:
All dogs must be in good health and free from contagious conditions before attending their appointment. Owners must inform us in advance of any medical issues, behavioural concerns, sensitivities, or special handling needs. Vaccinations should be up to date.
>Behaviour and Handling:
We always place safety first. If a dog is aggressive, extremely anxious, or becomes difficult to handle, we reserve the right to stop the groom if continuing would put the dog or staff at risk. In these cases, a partial grooming fee may still apply.
>Two-Groomer Fee:
If a dog requires two groomers to safely and effectively complete the groom due to size, strength, anxiety, or behaviour, an additional charge of £30 will be added to the original grooming price. This fee covers the extra time, care, and staffing required to safely handle the appointment.
>Matted Coats:
matted coats may require extra time, additional charges, or a full shave-down for the comfort and welfare of the dog. Any extra costs will depend on the condition of the coat.
Late Arrivals and Cancellations
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or the need to reschedule. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations; otherwise, a cancellation fee may apply.
>Collection:
Owners will be contacted when their dog is ready for collection. Prompt collection is appreciated to help reduce stress for your pet. Late collection fees may apply.
>Agreement:
By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms of this policy and acknowledge that all services are carried out with your dog’s safety and comfort as the top priority.
