Thank you to everyone who has filled out an application form. I appreciate the thought and effort many of you put into them.

I will get back to you all as soon as I can but I have caught a nasty bug and also have a massively busy unexpected work week so it’s likely to take a few more days to get through them.

It is looking likely that I will have a trio of doe and buck kittens available from the current litter. They are almost 5 weeks of age and due to be split so now is a good time to start thinking about their new homes. I’ll be sad to see them go!
The form will be open for up to a week. I will then get back to everyone who has applied.

Our littlest residents are thriving as they begin exploring. While cleaning them out this evening and having a quick cuddle I realised that they already needed an upgrade to a bigger cage with enrichment opportunities and climbing space. Mum also needs a bit of space to escape the little nibblers. 12 is a lot of mouths to feed.

There are doing really well and I expect to have chosen keepers soon so I’ll post out the link to the application form in just over a week all being well.

Look who was the first one to open her eyes! She’s catching them up in size though she’s still smaller. She has character already.

Some new Russian silver agouti additions this weekend from Rivendell.
Phoenix has done a great job in keeping all 12 babies well fed as they start to get their markings in properly and fur. A mix of 7 bucks and 5 does including little dinky, who is still doing well. Some Essex marked and some dumbo.

Phoenix has so far been a wonderful mum though wants her regular time out each evening for a cuddle and quick visit to her group. This gives me time to check the babies over while she’s enjoying herself. We seem to be down to 12 sadly with another quite a bit smaller than the others. They are wriggly, noisy and healthy otherwise. There will definitely be a few spares for pet homes too.
