𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐞𝐠𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲?🪱
➡️We recommend using Faecal Worm Egg Counts (FWEC) during the Spring - Autumn months to assess which horses require worming.
ℹ️Effective worm control relies on the correct and responsible use of wormers combined with good pasture management.
🔬These tests are carried out in house in our Laboratory and are available as individual tests or we offer group discounts for larger yards.

📢FEI Vaccination Changes Reminder📢
🟢If your horse is competing under FEI rules, all Influenza vaccinations 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 now be registered on the FEI HorseApp at the time of appointment.
🟢The first time the FEI HorseApp is used for each individual horse, all previous vaccinations given must also be recorded.
🟢The horse's microchip must be scanned during the vaccination, and photos of your horse may be required to verify its identity.

This rule only applies to Influenza Vaccinations currently

Today we’re celebrating a huge milestone — 15 years at the practice for our amazing colleague, Charlotte! 🎉
Charlotte is a kind, compassionate vet who’s been a firm favourite with our clients from day one. We feel incredibly lucky to have her on the team 🥰

A few fun facts to mark the occasion:
🩺Charlotte completed her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2016
💉 She’s given over 6,000 flu vaccines
🦷 Rasped nearly 1,500 sets of teeth
🚗 Visited more than 11,250 different yards — all while taking a couple of breaks to welcome her lovely children!

Charlotte, thank you for your dedication and everything you do. Here’s to many more years! 🐴

We knew he couldn’t resist saying hello to one of his many favourite horses! 🥰

Here Tony is proudly holding the stunning Tas Valley Lincoln, who won in the 2 & 3yr gelding class then went on to win champion gelding & reserve supreme Suffolk. 🏆🐴
