And just like that half term is done! How have we all found the weather?! Normally I'm a fan of the sun but this week I learned that 30degree heat and "glamping pods" don't mix 🥵🥵🥵🥵 a bit cooler for back to school next week and a bit of rain for the plants!
We wrapped the week up with a walk around the beautiful Sandringham estate.
Where do you all recommend for a nice dog walk- share an idea and a pic below!

How are we all enjoying the weather? We've been in the garden all weekend and I want to stay there ideally but I need to actually do some housework and parent my kids 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
The park is fairly empty which I'm pleased to see with the heat, we have extended opening until 9pm while it's warm if anyone is looking for a slightly later slot when the temperature is subsiding ☺️☺️
This is Rusty's version of cooling down as he seems to be the only Labrador ever to not be keen on water 🤦🏼‍♀️

🔥🔥🔥🔥Feeling hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥
With the weather forecast to be so hot over the next few days we want to reiterate that the welfare of the dogs using the park comes first.
If you have booked but decide it's too warm give us a shout and we can cancel or reschedule, it isn't a problem at all, I'd rather an empty park than an overheated dog 🥵

*****Park rules/etiquette****
Just a little reminder of the rules when using the park as we've had a few hiccups the last couple of weeks
*Bookings are in sessions of 25 minutes & 50 minutes, not half an hour or an hour, this buffer is crucial for the smooth running of the park and ensures everyone's comfort and safety.

**Please, if you are early drive up the track a little so as not to make others feel pressured, also please do not walk in until you are certain the field is clear, no car doesn't equal no dog as we get a lot of customers who walk to us.

***Please don't take offence if someone locks the gate rather than holding it open, they are just abiding by the rules 😊

****Please lock the gate and scramble the code after use

💩💩💩💩please...please....PLEASE pick it up. It's not fair on others to have to clear up after a dog that isn't theirs.

Also kids are absolutely welcome here! We have been asked a few times recently if kids are allowed and the answer is a huge yes! We love seeing families and friends meeting and enjoying themselves here it's what it's all about! Our kids love a run in the field with Rusty (but please be careful on the equipment as it's aimed at our canine companions)

Happy weekend! We've had poochy parties, playdates and plenty of pics this week! We love seeing the dogs enjoying themselves so feel free to share your pics! If you do bring your dog for a special occasion there's a lovely cake stand just opened only a few doors down from us which also sells dog biscuits so you can all get a treat too! Don't forget you're welcome to use our advertising boards if you have a local small business too 😊

What are we all up to on this beautiful bank holiday (apart from visiting your friendly neighbourhood dog park)
Thank you to whoever added some new balls to the bucket yesterday, really kind of you and much appreciated 😁
Yesterday we took a trip to Wells, enjoyed some crabbing, arcades and an ice cream, there were sooooo many dogs, do you take yours to the beach? Rusty would go crazy with excitement at all the other dogs so we don't usually take him!

I'm not keen on making moany posts but I'm afraid this is going to be one.
I've just come in from the dog park and feel really deflated to see that at least 5 of the plastic "scooby doo" balls and one rugby ball have disappeared (they were all there at about 830pm yesterday)
We have had a lot of feedback that people appreciate the balls and treats being left but unfortunately if they keep being taken it will stop as it just isn't acceptable and they are expensive.
I do respect that some dogs become territorial of toys and want to take them home but 5 in one morning seems a bit unlikely.
Please don't take them home they are for everyone.
On a similar note if you use the toys or bring your own please PLEASE pick them up afterwards
Today I found this tiny tennis ball which in the mouth of a big dog could be pretty unsafe.
Whinge over, happy posts will resume tomorrow!

Now the weather is picking up you might see us pottering about the field a bit more making laughable attempts at growing fruit & veg.
We are a couple of acres away from the park and we will always try to keep noise to a minimum but if you have an especially reactive pooch and us being there is bothering them please give us a call and we will come away from the field during your booking 😊😊

Happy Friday!! We have a couple of new obstacles added today and an upgrade to the balls! Hopefully these will be a bit more robust than the tennis balls!
If your pooch does mangle a ball don't worry but please try to retrieve it and bin it so the little pieces aren't a hazard 🙂
**Please note the obstacles are homemade and whilst I do jump up down on them to test strength (I am of the chonky variety so it's a good test) they aren't intended for people so please be safe x
