Gorgeous mare with super jump!
Sky is a 4 turning 5 year old purebred Connemara mare who was imported from Ireland in October. She is currently standing at 14.1hh and will stay within pony measuring.
She is a class 1 mare who is well bred. Her Sire is a class 1 stallion Tourbeck Lad and her Damsire is Loughmor Rambler.
Sky is an easy mare who is quiet to ride, making her suitable for kids coming off smaller ponies, to start a competition career or for a small adult/ mother daughter share. Sky loves jumping and has a straight forward attitude and is very honest.
Sky is a pony that takes everything in her stride and isn’t fussed by any jumps or fillers and loves her job.
Despite this Sky is not a novice ride as she is a young horse and will pick up on her handlers nerves.
Sky has loose jumped up to 1m in Ireland and has just started jumping again this week after a small break over winter.
Sky has a soft snaffle mouth and does not require anything more regardless of the discipline.
Sky has three great paces, she has a floating trot and is a straight mover leaving her with endless potential for all disciplines like showjumping, eventing or dressage, even an ideal pony club pony.
Sky is a lovely and friendly mare, easy to shoe, box, catch, ride and in traffic. She has no stable vices.
Sky passed a 5 stage vetting in September and her owner is happy to share the report with potential buyers and is open to further vettings if wanted.
Sky is up for sale through no fault of her own, she is simply not suited to her owners requirements. Happy to answer any further questions and open to all viewings. No trials or loans.
