We could do with your help?
Its been a really busy time here at the rescue just in the last 2 months we have over 12 rehoming enquiries a total of 19 cats. It's just crazy and so very sad. 😞 We are doing the best we can.
Just a few pennies could really help our cause? We also have some amazing catnip mice and cat blankets and wollen wrists warmers for sale on the website too, which will make superb christmas gifts 🎄

🎆 Top Tips to Help Your Pets on Firework Night! 🎆
Fireworks can be fun for us — but scary for our pets! Here’s how to keep them calm and safe this season 💚

🐶 Dogs
• Walk them before dark so they’re home before fireworks start
• Close windows, curtains, and put on the TV or music to mask noise
• Create a safe, cozy den where they can retreat

🐱 Cats
• Keep cats indoors after dusk
• Ensure they’re microchipped and details are up to date
• Provide hiding spots and avoid picking them up if they’re scared

🐰 Small Pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters)
• Bring outdoor hutches inside if possible, or cover them with blankets
• Add extra bedding for sound insulation
• Keep them with their companion for comfort

🦎 Reptiles
• Maintain a calm, stable environment — avoid moving their vivariums/ tanks
• Ensure heating and lighting remain consistent
• Keep them in a quiet room away from loud noises

🐦 Birds
• Partially cover cages to reduce flashes of light
• Keep them indoors in a calm room
• Play gentle background noise to soothe them

💚 If your pet struggles with loud noises, speak to your vet — there are products and training techniques that can help.
