Xena is a 4 year old female bully x staffy

she is larger than a staffy

She has come from a loving family home so all her history is known

Xena has been with the same family since a puppy, but sadly work hours have increased and Xena is alone at home all day every day which is not fair on her

Xena loves walks, and is dog social

She is housetrained and can be left for periods of time without being distressed ( in a new home this will have to be built up)

has been around young children and is very good

cats not yet known

Xena will be assessed on arrival and will be looking for a new forever home

As it’s a friday evening and most people might be settling down with their doggies ❤️

can anybody who has adopted a dog from Poppy’s Pals Rescue and would like to, post a photo in the comments of their adopted fur babies relaxing this evening

We would love to see everybody happy in her new homes 🙂

Seeing them all happy in their loving homes makes everything so worthwhile

This boy had no other offers and was in the pound and due to be put to sleep

This boy has been in his home a year today!

What a lucky boy! he is now called “Charlie”

Pound dogs really do give such satisfaction when seeing them in their new homes

away from their past lives where their owners didn’t love them enough to claim them back and leave them to a sad fate

Go and live your best life Charlie boy 🌅

Simba!!!

Simba has just been on his first family camping trip to Cornwall !!

what a turn around for this lovely boy!

this makes the blood sweat and tears totally worth it!

Thank you to his wonderful family for giving this boy a chance !

Large dogs are not always easy to re home and often need perseverance, the family have worked so hard with Simba and i’m so grateful

The BEST news ever!!

Beano is now adopted!!!

Thank you to absolutely everybody involved in helping Beanos time in rescue be the best it could be

between everybody we managed to keep him mostly out of kennels and with somebody in their home, between daycare and people helping he coped well and even started to settle down

it’s been a very difficult 8 weeks for all involved!

I cannot thank you all enough !!

Beano have a wonderful life! and enjoy your two new big sisters !

The biggest thank you to his adopters for accepting his separation anxiety and being understanding enough to let Beano settle and working with him to feel safe

without wonderful fosters/ adopters none of this could be possible
