Bobby has made his journey from Turkey and is looking for his new home and new life
he is older than first thought and is around 7 years old

he is a medium sized ( collie size)

Bobby loved his life in Turkey and it’s such a shame that only chance of a safe life was to be taken from what he knows 😞

He is used to free roaming, sleeping outside shops in the shade in the day and running around with other dogs at night

The one thing that’s been missing from Bobbys life is a family to love him

he’s a very affectionate and loving boy and would love to find his forever people

He would love to live with another dog/ dogs but could also be an only dog if the circumstances were right

we don’t want to do him an injustice and just home him to somewhere with no garden, we want him to have a nice space outside and to hopefully have a happy and fulfilled life

⭐️ Will need a secure good sized garden

⭐️ ideally to life with another dog/ dogs

⭐️ could be left up to 4 hours

⭐️ clean in his kennel

⭐️ he will have never lived indoors so will need access to outside at all times initially and a patient understanding kind home

Bobby will have never lived with children so older children only

Bobby is very affectionate and loving and walks perfectly on a lead, he doesn’t pull

He is a quiet easy boy who needs his people

The pups have been vet checked 🙂

They have all gone onto a course of antibiotics as some have a bit of a rattle to their
chest due to the conditions they were living in

They are fine in themselves and will
need to return for their vaccines and microchip in a weeks time when the antibiotics finish

We have had a puppy home fall through and we would love them to leave as all the others are leaving and don’t want a lonely pup!

If you put in an application, are local and willing to return the pup in a week for vaccine and microchip please contact us.

Meet “Colin the cat tester”

Colin belongs to Mandy Shutler who rescued him as a 1 week old kitten and hand reared him

He now has a job! and is a vital member of Poppy’s pals!

He’s the most chilled cat ever and will tell the dogs off if they are too much! he’s such an amazing boy!

Thank you mandy and Lilly for loaning us Colin when we need him!

we try our hardest to test the dogs as accurately as we can! but cannot always be 100 percent

We highly recommend the “The Doggi hairdressers ” if anybody local needs a groomer 🙂

H***h (now Ludo) is adopted 🥰🥰🥰

H***h was an unclaimed “stray” in our area (East Dorset )

while we take a lot of strays from pounds outside our area, we also take a lot from the local area and work closely with the dog warden

He’s now got an acre of land to run around and a family who have had “mastiff types “ their whole lives 🙂

He couldn’t have got a better suited home!

He’s now been castrated and is sleeping it off

Meet Bobby

We previously posted photos of the wrong dog 🫣🫣

Bobby is 5/6 years old

There is a bit of a story behind Bobby ……

Bobby was found on the beach in fethiye
He was happy living on the beach area being free ⛱️☀️🌊🏖️🏝️⛱️

Sadly now in Turkey dogs are no longer allowed on the streets/ beach…. so Bobby was picked up twice by the council and went to a disease riddled shelter where he would have died

He escaped the first time and walked miles to get back to what he was used to 😞

He had his best doggy friend there but sadly when Bobby returned he had gone and never came back 😞

Then the following year he was picked up
Again but he managed to slip off of the truck !!

Bobby got wise to the truck every time he saw it but it was only a matter of time before he was picked up again and maybe wouldnt be able to escape 😞

Bobby was in constant danger of being picked up again and need d sacked 😞

A lovely transporter named Helen who does the journey to and from Turkey on a regular basis saving dogs , managed to capture him and take him to safety

she has been trying to find a rescue in the UK to secure his future

of course we have so many dogs here needing homes, but if we can take the odd overseas do we will help where we can !!
Bobby will be looking for his forever home

Can live with children

Can live with other dogs

Can live with cats

Will need a SECURE garden

Will need a large outside space as he’s been used to roaming and would hate for him to feel confined

Bobby will be an amazing family addition, he just needs love and affection and a family to call his own

He will have never lived inside but is very calm and adaptable

He is a large breed dog but very calm

please message if you can give Bobby what he deserves

It’s so sad he’s had to leave what he knew and loved, but his alternative was a state shelter and eventual death 😞

Pantha is looking for her forever home

We would love to have kept her but sadly she is protective over her food ( probably due to having food restricted for long periods of time) so wouldn’t be suitable with multiple dogs in household

She is very dog social, she just isn’t able to eat around other dogs without telling them off

She could go to a home with a similar sized neutered male, but would need experienced owners to ensure she is always separated around food/ treats

She may/ may not have lived indoors, but she will definitely need to be an indoor dog as barks when in the kennels as wants to be with you

She is clean in her kennel so has clearly been used to waiting to toilet outside

⭐️ could live with a similar sized castrated male

⭐️ could live with children 12 plus

⭐️ not yet cat tested

⭐️ clean in her kennel and bed area

⭐️ can be food possessive with dogs ( not people) so would need large breed savy owners

⭐️ very affectionate and attaches quickly

⭐️ can be a little nervous of men initially and cowers 😞

Panther is a stunning girl and deserves a happy life , she’s been used for breeding and needs to find her forever people now

homes must be large breed experienced

This is how quickly life can change

For better or worse 😞

Florrie is safe because we said YES we will take her

It’s a lottery for animals, some get a good hand in life, a lot don’t 😞

Florrie was tied up outside a vets close to death and starved to a point she wouldn’t have lived much longer

Thank goodness the evil “person” who had her let her go

This is why we do this, it makes all the blood sweat and tears worth every second

Florrie you deserve every second of happiness

Let’s pray justice will be done!

Winnie hasn’t had any suitable interest

She’s a lovely family dog and adores children

She can be reactive initially with dogs and needs careful introduction

Once she’s comfortable she’s ok with dogs, but needs somebody strong and willing to put in work to help socialise her

She has been with us a while and needs a home to call her own

⭐️ Can live with children ( ages to be discussed )

⭐️ possibly live with a dog savy cat

⭐️ needs further socialising and somebody able to deal with a strong and at times reactive dog

⭐️ can be destructive when left long periods so needs somebody home a lot of the time

⭐️ may need further housetraining

Winnie has been severely let down by people and hasn’t had the vital socialising she needed as a puppy so needs more work

she’s the most loving girl with people and just loves to play

We think winnie is less than 2 years old

she’s still got milk 😞
