Please read Luna's story and share if you can. We've absolutely fallen in love with this gorgeous girlie already and we're so pleased she is getting her much deserved second chance 🥹
🌙 “Hi, I’m Luna… and I’m Kind of a Big Deal.”
Hi humans,
Luna here. Yes — that Luna. The tiny Egyptian street cat with the big attitude and the even bigger will to live.
Let me tell you my story… with a little flair.
So, picture this:
I’m minding my own business in Egypt, being fabulous, when life literally runs me over. Rude, right? A nice man scooped me up and took me to the vet… and then p**f, he vanished like a dodgy Tinder date.
I stayed.
And stayed.
And stayed some more.
The accident left me partially paralysed, but listen — I’m still faster than you think. I’ve got my own signature wiggle. I’ve got moves. I’ve got style. I’ve got tail wags — yes, even now.
But apparently, humans took one look at me and said,
“Oh no, she’s broken.”
Excuse me? I am LIMITED EDITION.
So I ended up living in a cage.
And get this — I get 15 minutes of freedom twice a week.
Fifteen. Minutes.
Twice. A. Week.
I’ve had longer naps.
But I make the most of it. I zoom (well… wiggle‑zoom). I purr. I charm. I flirt. I do my best “adopt me, I’m adorable” face.
Still no takers.
Honestly, I don’t know what’s wrong with people.
Then one day, I overheard the vet humans whispering.
They said my time was up.
Not because I was poorly.
Not because I was unhappy.
But because nobody wanted me.
I thought, “Well, that’s dramatic.”
But also… terrifying.
And then — plot twist — Enas appeared. My Egyptian guardian angel. She said, “Not this girl. Not today.” And she told my story to Corbiere Cat Cabin.
And THEY said yes.
They said I matter.
They said they’d be my lifeline.
They said they’d bring me to the UK — where I hear the snacks are excellent.
But here’s the thing…
I can’t get there without you.
I need help with my flight, my wheels, my nappies (don’t judge me), and my vet checks.
I’ve done the surviving part.
Now I need help with the living part.
And that’s where you come in.
Yes, you.
The human reading this.
The one with the soft heart and the good taste in cats.
You are the hero of my story.
You are the reason I get to wag my tail in a home instead of a cage.
You are the one who can help me trade my 15 minutes of freedom for a lifetime of it.
Thank you for caring about a little wobbly cat with a big personality.
Thank you for being my lifeline - my Just Giving Page link is below if you'd like to help.
Love,
Luna
