Wednesday

9- lovely walk around Newgate, Cub hunting his way through the bushes while Lottie and Midge strike a more dignified stance
11- we went to the fields and did our usual circuit though the grass is making it a little challenging for the smaller dogs. Ivy loves to hide and attack through it, Connie finds this very exciting if confusing.
3- big H and Sochs no the route now through the edge but it's a perfect circular march for an hour slot if we keep the pace up. H nicely puffed out alongside me after each hill
4- me and Nora parked on strawberry Lane and walked a circular route along the bridal paths. Slow to start with but practically trotting at the end throwing my timing off completely. Seems happier in the van.

Tuesday

9:00 a lovely stroll around Newgate with Cora and Mable plus the sheltie. Met Gill so totally forgot to take photos. Coral enjoyed the company though.

11:00 introduced Crumble to these three, and they accepted him with easy grace. They know what a h***y I am picking up dogs. Hank did try to invite him in play but Crumble not quite up to it.

1:00 this lot went to Stanlylands and played in the river. Quite a few other dog walkers so we went into the horse fields and up through the clump of trees. Pearl enjoyed her throne in the front seat.

3:00 final walk through Alderley and the same circuit as yesterday. It's a good march which will hopefully keep all involved fit.

Monday

Meet Crumble!!! He's a young Cockapoo joining the pack 😊

9:00 – Midge is back from the great snip, both better and lesser all at once 😜. As it's only his second week post-op, I kept the walk to just three with Lottie and Cub.

11:00 – I wanted to introduce Crumble to Simba and Waffle only, as two entire males can sometimes be interesting! Everyone was ever so good and polite, if a little formal with each other. A very positive start. I think they might play together given a little time.

1:00 – Took this lot to Styallands, where we enjoyed a very relaxed affair along the river.

3:00 – With Big H's nail still healing, we headed to Alderley Edge for the smoother, more compact paths. We had a brilliant march about the place and ended nicely puffed.

A lovely day all round 😊

Friday
Just the two walks this morning and a quick introductory session with a new client. It rained... but not as much as yesterday. I'll take that. First walk in the fields. Cora didn't trust any of the labs though she's met them a few times. Midge back from the big snip so got carried a bit. All very well behaved.
Second walk along Lindow bridal paths. Nora and me are learning to trust each other more and more- think we'll be good friends in no time.

Sorry for the late post. I rushed straight from work to Liverpool for a private view of an art show I'm in.
Today was wetter than any day I can remember. Non-stop rain.
9:00 – We wandered around a deserted Newgate. It rained.
11:00 – In a bid to keep them vaguely the same colour, we walked around the runways at the airport. It was surprisingly busy; I wondered if the heavier rain earlier had delayed flights. It rained.
1:00 – Fields. Big mistake. The wet grass meant I finished with nearly a glass of water in each wellie. The dogs didn't care. It rained.
3:00 – Final walk with the duo around Alderley Park and the surrounding estate. Very civilised, if a little dull. It rained.

Tuesday

What a day?! There was pretty much a thunderstorm every walk, several on H’s and sochs. Made a rather long soggy day. Plus my phone battery is shot. Anyone selling an old one cheap?

9:00 and 11 around soggy fields
1:00 stanlylands in case I needed to hide under the bridge- in the end it was sunny
3:00 the Alderley park- boy did the heavens open but we marched nonetheless

Monday

After an early start, walk with my lot in Goyt valley and a rather rushed set up at Haddon hall in Bakewell I finally got to work. That said I’ve already sold a painting apparently so it was worth the effort.

Both the 11 and 1 walks were in the field. The grass is long right now but they all seemed to enjoy it.

3:00 big h and sochs to Wilmslow park. So far in this lead only park I’m yet to meet any one keeping their dogs on the lead but me. That said it’s surprising how quickly people put their dogs on the lead when you’re walking towards them with a 50kg rottie walking perfectly to heel. Doubt they would if it was only sochs.

Just the two walks today, one with the lovely Connie, Ivy and Cub and the other with just the wonderful Nora. Both were around Newgate.

Thursday

9:00 we went to northern woods and walked along the river to the tunnel under runway two and back. Lost Mable for a while when I forgot that she is unable to duck under a gate, she just stood there for about five minutes with Polly going backwards and forwards.
11:00 to the fields with calm sensible girls ignoring the male labs gallivanting about the place. All very good natured.
1:00 final walk at stanlylands, we had to duck under trees here and there to avoid downfalls but me and Connie has a campfire sing along. Pity my phone blocks us out everything she joins in ruining all our recorded jamming.

Meet Nora and Morris!! They are a lovely pair I’ll be taking out at the end of a few days a week. Nora does the best pray pose and Morris enjoys squirrels. Still getting to know each other but think we’ll get along grand.

9:00 and 11:00 both in the fields. I haven’t been for a few weeks as they manured the place but it’s been washed in now and the grass is back to being long. Lots of playing.

3;00 mr H and sochs did some more exploration of Alderley park. Such pretty woods though we seem to be the only ones obeying the leads only ruleto

4:00 first walk with Morris and Nora , Alderley park again :)
