5th heatwave 🥵🙄
I've had enough
Us dog walkers, sitters keep battling on, changing walks to earlier in morning. There is only so many hours in the morning, without me becoming a octopus. Lol. Constantly checking weather app, feeling the ground. Keeping animals happy, and hydrated. Giving advice to clients how to encourage their dogs to drink more. Losing money as people working from home so cancelling dog pop ins.

Shouting at people walking their dogs in their heat. Dogs overheat so quick. :(
The next 3 days are going to be a scorcher.

It's been a rough time. But with each day closer to cooler temperatures 🙏🤞🤞

We are so grateful for our Small business, we have worked so hard and got so many lovely clients some we see weekly, some every few months, some we don't see for months at a time but one thing for sure, they come back to us everytime they need a sitter, a walker or someone to pop in on their animals. When we are fully booked they are disappointed that we can't help but understand we do get booked up so quickly. Thank you to All of our lovely clients

Did you know if your walking your puppy to far. You are damaging its growth plates and can cause joint problems later in life.
As a general advice its 5 minutes every month of life so a 3 month old max 15 minutes 6 month 30 minutes. Let it be a puppy, they don't need long walks, they need to sniff and explore their new world
Picking up a puppy if its a small dog and sitting with it on a bench watching and listening is so tiring to a puppy, trust me a fast power walk isn't needed. Sad to see Today a puppy being walked too far and fast it looked ready to nap on the road :(
