Hi! My name is Amie and im 17 years old. I thought it best to introduce myself to you all.
I’m currently studying for an extended diploma in fine art at college and am following my passion in the subject. As for my passion with animals I would like to proudly mention my mum, the CEO and founder of Waggy Walks . After seeing the fulfilment and passion my mum gets from her job, and having experienced it first hand along side her, I’ve realised this is a job I would love to pursue. My mum has taught me and is teaching me everything that I need to know about animal care and safety. I will be doing a pet first aid and cpr course soon, aswell as getting an enhanced DBS certificate. I will also be fully insured so everyone’s minds can be at ease. Not only had my mum passed this animal love on to me, but my mum and dad have both raised me around animals and given me a life long love for them which I will be forever grateful for.
I’ve had a few part time jobs by now, and know that nothing makes me happier than bringing smiles to others faces. I feel that is the most important aspect of this job, makeing sure you and your furry friend are as happy and safe as can be. While in my care, I will love, respect and look after your pet as if they were my own.
I offer a free 30min meet and greet, this way I can get to know you and your beautiful furry friend. Any walks will be 1 on 1 unless you would like to have multiple from the same household walked, this way I can focus on the requirements of any and all animals in my care, all of which can be discussed in the meet and greet.
I will be Whittlesey based and can’t wait to walk alongside the big and little paws of your beloved pets.
