𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙥 ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Hey all, little update for you all.
I’m now one week post op & all is going well. I had my big dressing off today & the nurse said it’s looking good. The right amount of bruising & swelling I coming out, so she’s booked me in again next week to check it again, when the steri-strips may have lifted a bit.
I am off the strong co-codamol, cos it made me basically feel like s**t. So good old paracetamol when needed!! Ngl it’s super painful & it just feels really vulnerable & the tiredness is kicking me arse, firstly cos yeah I’ve had an op, but I’m also not used to doing so little…….
I need my dogs 🐶✂️
The gym 🏋️‍♀️
Some running 🏃‍♀️

For now I’m busying myself with lots of walks…..when I’m not too tired 😴
Roll on results day ❤️
I hope you’re all ok & I cannot wait to see you & all my dogs again ❤️❤️

When you work on your own, but you have the best groomer friends that are always there for you ❤️
Having these girls means I never feel lonely……we may not see each other much, but we’ve always got each others backs & help each other out.
These girls have really stepped up for me helping out with clients while I’m out of action ❤️‍🩹

🚨 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 🚨

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the hot weather & managing to keep your doggies cool 😎

Unfortunately has to close for at least 6wks while I rest & recover ❤️‍🩹
About 6wks ago I was randomly called in for an early mammogram, I’m not 50 until next year!
Well lucky I was as they saw some tissue they weren’t happy with. There was no lump, no reason for me to have a mammogram, this was just shear luck that I was called in for one.
So then I was called back for a second one, ultrasound, biopsy & mri & the results came back that I have early grade 1 breast cancer.
So yesterday 26th May I went in for a lumpectomy & they also removed a few lymph nodes as a precaution.
I get my results in around 3-4wks, which hopefully will say it’s as expected & all removed. I will then need radiotherapy, but everything I’ve heard so far is very positive ❤️

After I get my results I will then have a clearer idea of when I can start rebooking 🐶
So for now all grooms are cancelled & I will restart a new diary once I am given the all clear to be back with my dogs & scissors in my hands ✂️

You all know how much I hate not working & I will miss all my dogs dreadfully ❤️
Give them a kiss from me & hopefully I will see them all from July onwards ❤️

Beautiful Molly the cavapoochon was in today for her groom. This was her 2nd visit to me & up until now mum has kept her in long coat…….well today she had a big girl groom & doesn’t she look lovely 😍
Ngl I was a tad worried that mum wouldn’t like the cut straight away, it’s hard going from long to a shorter teddy bear trim, but she loved it & that makes me so happy 🥰

Aww Peanut you little cutie 😍
Peanut is 7 months old now & this was her 2nd visit to me. Peanut is a mini golden doodle, hasn’t the typical coat, so she just had another bath, groom & tidy today. Mum & dad didn’t want her too neat looking & I totally agree, she has a cute wispy coat & it really suits her, so we’ll just see how she grows.
She’s a little superstar to groom bless her & I love the name 😍
