As pet professionals in an unlicensed field it is our responsibility to make sure we are keeping up with legislations. We take a lot of pride in what we do and always want to be at the top of our game.

This is why being part of is a positive step forward. This will help us maintain up to date knowledge. Will ensure we continue to progress with CPD training and ensure animal welfare is always at the forefront of our business.

Did you know… as groomers we carry out a health check each time we see your pets for a Groom.

We are not only here to help with your dogs haircut but also to provide some support with helping to monitor your dogs health and advise when they may need to visit a vet.

Here we can see something called Retained puppy teeth, we helped the owner by showing images and referring them to a vet.

Sometimes you have a senior dog and the groom reflects this, a comfortable groom that’s easy to maintain can be the way to go as your dog starts to show signs of ageing.

Have you ever thought about ways you can ask your groomer to amend your dog’s style as they grow older?

Here we have the body and legs the same length, not too short as we want to help him retain a little heat (as they grow older their coat can thin out and it can be a little harder for some)

We groomers have a routine… it helps us to complete a groom in good time while getting everything completed on the groom without forgetting ✂️

…Sometimes we change the routine to suit the dog… like here, he struggles to stand for too long he likes to sit so we work with him to get the groom complete, with sitting breaks were needed.

Such a friendly little guy we love seeing him 🥰🖤
