A brilliant week this week with newbies,oldies and the in between🥰🐾Super happy doggo’s!
As a dog groomer,we start with a puppy just like you do,we train him/her,we desensitise him/her,we learn about eachother(human and dog),we form a close bond,one that not many people realise,we see your dogs monthly/6weekly/8weekly and so on,we spend a lot of time with your dog and in return,we get happy well trained dogs on our table,they understand the routine they have been taught,which helps them calm and enjoy their groom!Yes some of them have a quirk,but we love quirky😂There is never a day that goes by that i personally would ever want to change my job,i love it and I’m proud of it!But as your dog gets older,the routine has to change,either more time on the floor,extra breaks or water,extra love or just a breather,so yes the hour groom it used to be is now a lot longer,but we are always prepared and ready,always have time and that is what helps them still enjoy it🥰

This is one of those posts we never like having to make... but we really need your help 💔

Our blood stocks are currently critically low, and we're concerned about the number of appointments booked over the coming weeks 😓

Summer is always a difficult time, with holidays and busy schedules meaning fewer dogs come forward to donate. Unfortunately, emergencies and illnesses don't stop for summer 🚨

Right now, we urgently need more lifesavers to come forward 🩸

If you've ever thought about registering your dog to become a blood donor... this is your sign. We need amazing people who can spare just an hour of their day to help save lives ❤️

To be a lifesaver, your dog must be:
🎂 between 1 and 8 years old
⚖️ weigh over 25kg
🐶 fit, healthy, and confident

Busy week this week,there’s been lots of fun had😂Starting the week with some paw holding,two giant lovable brothers,Molly came in with her 1st rosette from the dog show at Hornets for the best rescue🥰👏🏻 Rosie gets groomed led down as everything is too much for her🥰Spent time picking those awful seed darts out of feet,we had some puppy hugs from gorgeous Bonnie(i call her Bonnie Bon Bon😆),my best boy Otis is my new learning curve due to him having a stroke and him now leaning his head to one side,im hoping those ears are level😂But he’s a tough boy💪🏻🥰Every single dog this week has had impeccable manners,so perfectly behaved,we are really really lucky to have such an amazing lot of customers,i guess you hoomans are ok too🙄🤣🤣

A little tip i use as a dog groomer:
Holding paws😂It’s like holding a child’s hand but it’s a paw,quite a few of your dogs hand me their paw to hold whilst I’m grooming them🤣Not only cute as hell but it really does help them enjoy their groom😆🥰🐾

BABIES🥰👏🏻All fresh and happy pupperz this week and by the looks of it,ready for some more heat☀️🥵
We have newbie Olly the cockapoo with us now🥰An older gentleman,with lots of rests in between his groom but i think Sade enjoyed that as you can see by the photo😂
I was also very happy with Cashi the golden cocker,he is a rescue and has needed a lot of time to get used to grooming but he is doing absolutely amazing and has come quite far now🥰💪🏻
Everyone was well behaved as per usual,a great week👏🏻🐶🐾

PS:Keep an eye out for them damn seed darts🙄They are EVERYWHERE!!!!Check in between toes/mouths/nose/ears mainly!!xx

🐾 A Little Reminder From Your Dog Groomer 🐾
This week alone, I’ve had five no-shows.
When someone doesn’t turn up or lets me know at the last minute, that appointment can’t usually be filled. As a small business, that means I’ve set aside time, prepared my equipment, and turned away other clients who were waiting for an appointment.
I completely understand that emergencies happen, and life doesn’t always go to plan. All I ask is that, if you can’t make your appointment, you let me know as soon as possible. Even a quick message can make a huge difference.
Every appointment booked is a space reserved just for your dog, and no-shows don’t just affect my diary—they affect my income, my family, and other customers who could have used that time.
If you’ve ever wondered whether missing an appointment “really matters,” the answer is yes—it really does.
