PLEEEEASE unless you really cannot help it,do not walk your dogs to me this week!It is way too hot for their paw pads on the concrete!
Secondly,IF and a big IF,it gets too hot in the groom room,i will need to cancel your appointment and move your time,i groomed one of mine today and it reached 35c WITH the aircon on,my aircon is very powerful and brand new and as soon as the steam from the bath(even though the water is cool)and the blowdryer on(on cool)it still managed to reach high temps!
Every groomer will be having this issue now so please bare with us,we will move you to a cooler time!
Your dog’s health is our priority!!
Also,if you feel your dog is suffering with the heat and you need to cancel for a cooler time anyway then please let me know,your dog will not pass out due to not having a groom 😂 It’s safer to wait,as long as they are brushed then they can regulate their temperatures themselves with the help from a bowl of water so please do not panic xx

A week full of beauties and handsome hounds🥰
We had some gorgeous newbies,Bella the shepherd who was so well behaved and such a loving girlie,Summer the cocker spaniel,she had an absolutely stunning coat and her tail did not stop😆She was loving it and lastly we had Bruno the cockerpoo who lapped up the attention😂and was a right gentleman🥰
Also this week,we had Barkley AKA long tongue😆always super excited to come in for his groom(literally,i mean it’s literally his fave thing😂),gorgeous Gizmo,perfect Poppy,Beautiful Bonnie,Bubbly Buster,Terrific Tilly and best boy Buddy🥰🐶🐾

This week’s pupperz and we have two GORGEOUS newbies,Bruno and Reg who were good as gold🥰
I was so happy to see Maddie again after her ear operation due to the horrid “C” word☹️But she is a tough cookie and feeling much more like herself again🥰💪🏻
Fergie has gone from his first groom with me as a happy snappy shark due to his poorly skin,but it’s healing so so well thanks to his mummy so his second groom this week,he was an adorable loving trusting boy and now his grooms will be more relaxing🥰👌

Hot weather=hot dogs!
A matted dog WILL over heat,those matts will act as insulation and hold in heat!
A double coated dog that is not brushed all over WILL over heat,that undercoat needs brushing out!
If you cannot put a comb throughout your dogs coat then they will over heat!

Also,any dogs in paddling pools/swimming in rivers/lakes etc need brushing as soon as they dry to stop any unwanted matting from air drying!

This is the gorgeous Teddy,he has some medical conditions where he is a bit unstable on his legs but that doesn’t stop him🥰He comes in every 8weeks for his nail clips,at first he was wary and not as keen but now he absolutely loves coming in😃It’s amazing what a good routine can do🥰
