Did you know?

🐾The Bengal is a relatively modern cat, developed in the 1990s in the USA by crossing the Asian Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis; a small, strikingly marked wild cat from South West Asia) with the domestic tabby cats and other short haired breeds such as the Abyssinian, Burmese, and Egyptian Mau.

Meet our student veterinary nurse Jazz: 👋

My name is Jazz. I am a student veterinary nurse.
Becoming a nurse has always been a big dream of mine. Everyday reminds me of how great this career is and gives me another reason to love what I do.
Some of the most rewarding parts is advocating for the animals, caring for them, and building their trust.
Watching them recover and go home is an incredible feeling.
Veterinary nursing is such a special career, it combines dedication, compassion and teamwork while making a difference to animals and the people who love them.

Meet Laura:
Animals have always been my passion so when a job for a student nurse came up just as I finished school I applied straight away!

20 years and a qualification later, and I'm still here!
There is so much involved in nursing and every day is different. I feel so lucky to have such an interesting job and work with a great team.

May is Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month! 🐾🩵

Over the month we will introduce you to some of our amazing vet nurses and veterinary care assistants. 👋

Meet Kat:
Hi, I’m Kat. I’ve been veterinary nursing for over 10 years and still love every minute of it. I particularly enjoy medicine and emergency cases, with a strong passion for neonatal care. Supporting our smallest and most vulnerable patients is something I find especially rewarding.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me on my farm with my four year old son, enjoying country life. My favourite way to switch off is riding my horse, spending time with my Labradors, and going to the gym.

I feel very lucky to be in a profession that I’m so passionate about.
