This week has been my toughest yet as a dog walker. Yesterday I had to say goodbye to beautiful Lexi, one of my first ever clients and most regular walks. She was crazy, sweet, with fur like velvet and an enthusiasm for life like ive never known. She just didn't know her size and smothered anybody who stood still long enough with her own special brand of Lexi love. Sadly Lexi deteriorated suddenly due to suspected cancer and her wonderful owners put her first and let her go. I took her for one last walk and took in enough kisses to last a lifetime. Rest in peace sweet girl, we will look after your brother Rocky, but stay close to us on walks sweetheart, because they will never be the same without you. My heart is 💔 😥

18 months of Barks and Boops! 18 months of wet noses, slobbery kisses, hairy clothes, working outdoors in all weather's, playing ball, tug of war, trick training, hosepipe play, treats, cuddles and the occasional bite or skinned knees! Whichever of the above your dog has given me, I hope you know i love them all with all my heart ❤️ Thank you for trusting me with your dogs xx

Finished the week on a rather hot one, when it's hot like this I try and adapt the visits for the dogs sakes, shorter walks, going to the shady woods, taking plenty of water with us and sometimes when needed, changing from a walk to pop in visits for toileting in the garden and some gentle play. The dogs comfort will always come first ❤️

Its been a wild week weather wise, one minute wearing a mac and dashing for shelter and the next minute peeling off layers in the muggy sun and trying to keep the doggies in the shade! It's been a really busy one too, with my step count at an all time high. A couple of my clients mentioned that I didn't seem quite myself this week which was very observant of them and I appreciate their concern ❤️ Im currently on new medication which is knocking me for six so it's been a bit of an adjustment. The dogs have all kept me motivated though and as always made getting up and going to work a pleasure!
With all the rain this week it's been hard to take pictures of all the crazy crew, so here's a picture of my Grandpup, just because hes gorgeous 😍
