I really want this to be a success for the show !

⬇️ More info & in depth. It’s long, but it’s all here (I think)

🦄 it will be £5 per HORSE not person (you can not combine horses points together)
🖤 £5 is for the year NOT per 6 months. One off payment.
🦄 it will be NONE REFUNDABLE
🖤 it will be all MAIN classes give you points when placed (not only certain ones)
🦄 it will be the shows over all highest points winners across all classes (you aren’t fixed to entering the same classes)
🖤 medals & sashes will be done at 6months for the highest 5 points winners
🦄 trophies and sashes will be done at the end of the year for the whole years points winners 1st-10th (it won’t reset after the 6 month medals it will just continue)
🖤 each month at the of each show I will update a post which will be pinned in announcements on where your up to with your points.
🦄 perk of having “memnerhsip” you’ll get one free entry each month. & get to see the a schedule before the main group.
🖤 membership will remain open throughout the year as there will always be chances to catch up cos of course the more classes you enter, more chances of winning, more points to be won.
🦄 1st place will give you 10 points - backward to 10th place giving you 1 point.
🖤 champion places WILL NOT give points
🦄 trophies will be similar to our November trophies HOWEVER if we get enough members I will upgrade to bigger ones.
🖤 we need a minimum start up of 30 members simply to cover basic costs of prizes etc on a hope of busy months to pick up slack if necessary.

Yes. We are talking about 2026.
I regularly get asked about points.
For 5 years I haven’t done membership or points as I don’t believe in forcing people to enter the same classes.
HOWEVER.. for 2026 I have decided to open an open membership.
You will pay £5 to collect points from ALL main show classes throughout the year.

- At 6️⃣months (June) we will do a half time results where the top 5 people with the high test collected points will win a sash & medal.

- At 1️⃣2️⃣months (December) we will do the top 10 people with the high test collected points will win a sash & trophy.

That’s £5 paid once for 2026 and a chance of winning a medal & or trophy with sashes.
With the added extras listed in the photo.

This is new for 2026 but I think I have covered everything to make it a success and roped in the opinion of a handful of regular and long term competitors.

In an attempt to be organised. I am looking for sponsors for our annual charity classes which will be running over the next few months.

October - Breast Cancer Now
November - Prostate Cancer UK

As sponsors you’ll be providing the funds to cover the costs of the charity classes rosettes.
- the more sponsors the less money is required each.

We are in for a few days of sun & hot weather again …… reminder….

Top tips for the heat:
☀️ Ride first thing or in the evenings when it’s cooler.
☀️ horse ice blocks
☀️ hose your horses & leave the water don’t scrape (it’s an myth that this is bad for them)
☀️ use night turn out if possible (unless your stables like a greenhouse)
☀️ check your field waters full
☀️ don’t forget fly spray they’ll be out in force
☀️ dark horses white fly sheets help keep them cooler
☀️ if your field doesn’t have shade especially check on your horses they can’t escape the sun
☀️ soak fly rugs in water to help keep cool when on
☀️signs of over heating: excessive sweating, rapid breathing, elevated heart rate, and lethargy
☀️ Consider feeding Electrolytes to replace lost
☀️ Cast your eye over others horses, any good owner would want a false alarm message then a message to late
