They learn patience.
They learn empathy & emotional awareness.
They learn to look for good things to reward instead of 'bad' things to be corrected.
They learn that you can influence behaviour kindly, without shouting or force.
They learn how their own behaviour affects others.

And perhaps most importantly of all…

They learn that good relationships are built on trust, understanding and feeling safe.

Turns out dog training teaches children quite a lot about humans, too!

Meet handsome Buddy who at 8 months old is already a powerhouse!

In true adolescent dog style he's forgotten his recall and is pulling like a train on walks. But he is a dream to train as his love of food is off the chart.

Here we are just a few minutes into training and he's learning fast that if he stays close he gets the goods! 😍

Wow! Another busy weekend of 4 x 121s and our weekly PAYG class!

Two new O'Donnell team members! Beautiful Millie the rescue Lab X and handsome Hugo the Cocker Spaniel.

Millie needed some help with her recall and pup Hugo needed to start work on his loose lead walking foundations.

And what superstars in our PAYG class, starting work on their IMDT partnersip grades! 😍

I've had 3 boarding requests already this morning from people being "let down" last minute by the boarder they booked for when they go on holiday. My guess is that an unlicensed boarder has been caught 😠

Please, please, ask any potential daycare or boarding service to see their licence BEFORE you book. A licensed boarder will be proud to show you their licence. It shows that they comply with government licensing regulations, are insured and registered and most importantly, they want the best for your dog.
