Please help us to bed it in by crawling up it 🙏🏻
🔴Once you reach the top please turn right and park in the field
🔴Please do not come into the stable complex either with or without your horse
🔴With bio security in mind please bring your passport for checking before you unload
🔴We have a caterer coming for teas, coffees and snacks
🔴Our amazing photographer Wayne Jones will be on site
🔴Please wear your number
🔴If you haven’t entered yet you have till midnight 😁

Less than a week left to get your entries in

⭐️Warm up and tests will all take place in the Roberts Arena
⭐️Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary classes
⭐️Qualifier for the Championships in September
⭐️All tests may be called
⭐️No restrictions on tack for intro classes only

And all of a sudden Uppy and I are breaking ground.
So excited to have this amazing arena. Thanks Tomley, you have done an amazing job and have one very happy customer.
The new website will be live soon, show schedules so far are on horse events and we are ready for our Lyford season to begin. We are running a dressage league again with Thursdays added, we have showing and are just finalising our jumping.
Arenas are open to hire, sj on grass and of course our xc

Full Loan available in term time and Part Share during University Holidays

Harvey is a high-withered 17hh, 11 year old thoroughbred bay gelding with a wonderful soul based at Lyford Stud OX12, looking for full loaner while his owner is at university

He has a lovely temperament, is kind and willing, well-mannered on the ground and good to catch. He's a thoroughbred though... so not without a stubborn streak when being shod, loaded or heading to the wash bay (for instance) so he needs an experienced hand. Good to hack in company, wonderful on the flat and a willing jumper to 90cm.

We are looking for an experienced confident rider to take on full responsibility for day-to-day care and the majority of (but not all) costs during term time, with the owner's daughter returning to share during university holidays. The ideal loanee is someone who wants to have a bit of fun with the occasional competition and fun rides, etc.

Harvey will remain at Lyford Stud on grass livery and a full loan agreement will be signed. Insurance is in place.

Ideal for someone looking for all the joys of horse ownership without the purchase price

We are soon to release our show dates for this season but the first dressage in our series will be on June 6th and the schedule and entries are now live 🎉

We’re late starting this year but hope you’ll join us. So excited to see you all back here again.

Lyford Stud Dressage Series 6th June opens on 6th June 2026. This South East based horse event will take place at Lyford Stud, Charney Bassett, Wantage, OX12 0HB.
